A bit fortunate imo, looked 2nd best in first half, but great to get a first match win after donkeys years.

Thought we looked very solid without the ball after the first 5 minutes where we were all over the place and grew in to the game with the ball getting better with each minute and each substitution.
I like the look of all our new signings they all did well.
3 points on the opening day what the f+ck is going on !

Love it that Bolingo scored on his league debut. I thought his movement when he moved to striker was the best movement in attacking areas all game. We look to have a very good player on our hands here. |

Great win, looking forward to Martin coming back and raul. Promise is very physical and holds the ball well. From the two games I have watched ( which is early days) Hutchinson has struggled a bit with the quick passing play.

Love it that Bolingo scored on his league debut. I thought his movement when he moved to striker was the best movement in attacking areas all game. We look to have a very good player on our hands here. I was encouraged by what I saw. He doesn`t lack the confidence to run forward with the ball, that`s for sure. |

Crazy the feed cut off then! Not a great performance but got better as the second half progressed. The win is the main thing but I don’t see us being promotion candidates HOWEVER this is only one game from 46 so can’t reach too many conclusions yet. Plus point is that we didn’t concede which is a big improvement from last year so well done Matt Taylor on that. Changed that 43 to 46 quick me old fruit, well done 👍 Might wish it was 43 by the end of the season 😅 |

New players will have loved that atmosphere. Northampton offered nothing after huffing and puffing for the first 20. If that is them for the season then they're in trouble. No player of theirs had any flair or creativity.

Wilson gets a bit of a bashing on here, but he was magnificent today and my MOTM. Thought him Mola and Taylor Moore looked as solid as a rock, with the exception of the error by Moore in the second half. However his tackle near the end was absolutely brilliant. |

Enjoyed the game some very bright moments from alot of the new players!
Excited for end of the window and when we have all our forwards fit again 🔥
