First game of the season, 2 players not available and one not ready for 90 mins.
Manager has to pick starting 11 then another 7 on the bench. Luck chap.

With a this squad nearly anyone could feature at any time.
Undoubtedly will be much, much better than the last ten games at home last season.

So hard to predict the first game. I think it will be tight, but hopefully we come out on top.
With regards to the starting 11. Quite a few predicting no Thomas. Surprised by this because I'd have him as one of the first names on the team sheet.
Also, do we know why Forbes didn't feature against Cardiff? According to what I'd read he was outstanding in earlier friendlies, and I thought a certain starter, but having not played last week, does it look like a Taylor-Moore, Wilson, Mola back 3?
Really not sure what our best team is yet, so will have to trust the manager to pick the 11 that gives us the best chance of a positive result today. UTG!

I’m just looking forward to get back to the mem , These lads may need a few games to gel but from what I’ve heard about preseason , they all want to play and put in the graft , and it seems they all have a bit of character about them , as long as they give 100 % , that’s all I ask for as league 1 looks tough this season, UTG !!!!!

Think it will be a tight match, we are a bit light up front with injury to the orient lad and Chris Martin suspended so I’ll say 1-1

Don't care about the result. I just want to see a team run their socks off and leave the pitch with an empty tank.
We do that each game and the results will come.

Given our opening day results I'd take a scrappy winner, than go home thinking we'd played well but failed to take all 3 pts yet again on the first game of the season. Particularly with 3 tough looking away games up next.
