The normal rules being, if the ball goes over the goal line, it’s a goal? Is a bit odd though that if this game was at our place that goal may not have stood. Should just be the same for everyone. Exactly

2 more good saves there Topper Gas. Don't forget to ask Steve K what he thinks of them.

It’s fallen apart since the subs, I was hoping it was going to be bolongo and Thomas up front like saturdays subs.

I’ve never judged a player before on poor first appearance, but for Micah Anthony I think I might make an exception.

Feel free to correct me but when tech was brought in didn't everyone in the round have to play by the same rules. If one club didn't have goal line technology then no other club could use it.

2 more good saves there Topper Gas. Don't forget to ask Steve K what he thinks of them. Pretty routine saves though, I'd be surprised if Ward didn't make them. The big disappointment is we haven't forced the Cardiff goalie into one decent save, even though we've probably had more of the ball. I'm not sure we've improved in that regard over last season.

Nah if it’s available in a stadium use it. It’s only going to affect those two sides, nobody else, and it would be more daft to get a perfectly good goal chalked off because the technology was switched off for the evening when it’s already in situ.

I think possession was about 60-40 in Cardiff's favour last time they flashed the stats.

We done OK but this was winnable.
Cardiff were dire (not sour grapes) One man team. Colwill number 27 ran the show. Far too good for these lot.
Might put a few quid on them to go down.

Some bloody bizarre comments on here about goal line technology. It's the same for both team, irrespective of whether it's being used or not in a game.

Probably the "bigger" clubs complained and got the rules changed? All a bit odd as if this game was at the Mem it probably wouldn't have been given.

We look like a team that are going to score very few goals this season.
First time I’ve seen Shaw and he looks decent, Garrett is neat and tidy.
Not a bad performance but we do look toothless.
