Decent first half performance but fell away second half and the substitutions didn't work for us tonight.

Desperately need a Striker .. no real goal threat again.
This will repeat all month unless we go get and bed in a proper hungry striker

We look like a team that are going to score very few goals this season. First time I’ve seen Shaw and he looks decent, Garrett is neat and tidy. Not a bad performance but we do look toothless. Hopefully Martin, a fit Sotiriou, and another striker will help matters. Still not sure if we've adequately replaced Evo, we had two free kicks in dangerous positions and wasted both of them. |

We are 2 wingers and a striker away from being a really decent team.
Not a bad performance but we lack any real cutting edge.
Promise should have gotten his first half chance on target and we wasted some promising positions from set play as we don't seem to have a natural dead ball specialist anymore.

Not too disappointed, decent performance for an hour against a Championship team, some good cameos and I think for the first time for many years a decent squad with some depth, which should bode well as the season progresses.

Lots to be encouraged by after first two competitive matches. Mola is an incredible signing, possibly the most all round defender I may have seen in the quarters, this guy has it all. Agreed, colwill head and shoulders better technically than everyone else. We lack this level of skill, creativity and arrogance. I like Thomas as a professional but he doesn’t offer enough consistent quality in the final third. I’m going to enjoy watching this squad of players I feel as long as we can create more and strikers start fighting it out for the right to be our number 9

Cardiff deserved winners but we've given them a helping hand with 2 poor goals given away free header & then a ball that should have been cut out.
We struggled to create anything clear cut until injury time which is a bit of a concern but hopefully that will come & it's still early days for this squad.
Impressed with Garatt & Shaw and good to see Sotiriou get some minutes, onwards to Rotherham

You could have posted that for virtually every game we've lost since around December 2022, MT's got to find a way to get us making more chances. I'm not sure McCormick brings anything to the side in that regard. Shaw seemed to offer far more in a similar role. |

You could have posted that for virtually every game we've lost since around December 2022, MT's got to find a way to get us making more chances. I'm not sure McCormick brings anything to the side in that regard. Shaw seemed to offer far more in a similar role. Agree about McCormick and Thomas created three attacks for Cardiff when in possession on the edge of their area. Thought he was very wasteful and slowed down any progress on several occasions and surely we must have a better set piece taker than him. |

Thought Cardiff were there for the taking, but we were far too safe and predictable in midfield, Omochere isolated, final ball and general end product lacking. |
