If we do manage to sign another striker before the window closes, we need to work out how to get the ball up to them. At the moment we don't seem to have any idea. We're very solid at the back again. Not many people are demanding Wilson's head anymore, so maybe he just needed someone else to shoulder some of the heavy lifting. Not demanding Wilson’s head, I don’t believe it? He’s already got one foot in the grave 😁. Well done Gas, excellent point against hoof ball bullies 👍 Wasn't his wife's friend called Mrs Warboys ?

You can’t really complain about other posters being pedantic with you after you’ve spent the last decade trying to argue every minor point with everyone on here. Who's complaining? 😂 ha ha, FFS Topper you have the skin of a rhino!

It was clearly a typo when LT's spent his entire Rovers career on the right wing, although now certain posters seem to want to turn him into a No 10. You can’t really complain about other posters being pedantic with you after you’ve spent the last decade trying to argue every minor point with everyone on here. That genuinely made me laugh out loud 👏

I’m very happy with our start to the season. I could be wrong but we’re notoriously slow starters and I don’t remember us picking up four points or more from our opening two league fixtures many times in my time supporting the Gas other than perhaps our promotion season 1990 and the the Holloway season when we bottled it at the end ?

For a team who regularly lose the first game, to be in 8th position after two games in nose bleed territory!

We probably did under Buckle, unless we managed to lose our home game after winning at Wimbledon?

Good away point today at one of the favourite teams to go up, MT seems to have cracked the keeper & defence, now needs to sort out the midfield to be more creative & give our strikers something to feed on. Next week is going to be another stiff test as Stockport seem to be flying after their 3-0 win at Blackpool.

Still not creating enough but defence and brilliant keeping kept us in it, glad we never signed JCH.
Promise will start scoring soon, Chrissy Martin will be an excellent tutor.
Midfield needs to create more, however 4 points on the board Up the Gassssss!

Good all round performance. Let’s not forget the team are still jelling. And oh thank god we didn’t sign JCH, what a waste of space and lump of lard.

Under Buckle I think we lost at home to Torquay after the Wimbledon win.

Can’t believe some of the low match scores and some of the criticism after what is a pretty good away point at one the strongest sides and most difficult places to go on the division!
Rotherham just shaded possession but had 20 shots to our 5 but made exactly the same amount of passes as we did (317)….which tells you everything about how they play.
We’ve just played two teams that have basically bombarded us with long balls and direct play and we think it’s a problem with our own players that we haven’t managed to be that creative?
It just shows a lack of appreciation of the work our central players had to do today without ever really having the opportunity to get on the ball and stroke passes around. Winning duels, scrapping for knock downs, being first to second balls, intercepting things and securing possession and fighting and holding off players to prevent them getting in front of their men to get clear opportunities at goal.
These two games should please people immensely. It’s shown that players we’ve signed - including what we thought were creative players - are also willing to work and defend and do a job for the team as opposed to working as individuals in order to ‘catch the eye’.
Surprised how under appreciated that’s been by some.
We don’t just defend with the back 3 and the goalkeeper. We defended with all 11 players and first half in particular looked very in control of that barring one or two moments.
Yes second half they pinned us in and bombarded us with set pieces and balls into the box but we battened down and came through it.
Couple of players today that I thought would wilt and not be up to having to do their jobs defensively, who I thought were excellent in that respect.

An astonishing away point against another big boot side . Actually rhought we played the better football and possibly created the best two chances with quality football, The whole defence throughout were magnificent as was the keeper.Steve Evans teams are notprious for signing the best players around and hoofing the ball up to them. The very side we would have lost about 5-0 last season.m How about a sneaky bid fo Sam Numbe.Dont see how anybody can be critical of that as every player gave their all and had to play agaibst the referee as well. Well done the players and Management. Could still do qwith two more attacking players to balance the overall squad. I agree with Steve! ☝️👏 Pleasure to be there to witness a serious shift from the Gas today and there are very good signs for the season to come. We look to be building on solid foundations.
