Much as this competition is controversial, it does give second string players minutes. Who cares option is a bit naive Take it for what it is, reserve team football keeping legs turning over As long as it stays as it is, and isn't an experiment regarding B Teams in the FL or some other nefarious plan, then I suppose it's ok, especially as you say for trying out alternative players. Not sure why anyone would pay to watch Spurs teenagers though. I've never bought into the boycott attitude. Let's say Chelsea B works it's way up the football pyramid, would that be OK?

Sorry if it’s been said elsewhere but despite boycotting, I might like to still see it on the sly (I don’t have anything else to do tonight). Can’t see an option on BRFC tv though. That's because it's no being shown there. It's on Sky+. Only EFL games on BRTV

The proposals a few years ago were that in order to make room in the pyramid for all the B teams we would need to split the leagues up ( thefsa.org.uk/news/against-league-3/ ) They wouldn't start at the very bottom and work their way up (like FC United of Manchester etc). Hard to imagine a Premier League / Championship team entering a B team in at the very bottom of the pyramid and being patient enough to see if they can get that team to a level worthy enough to be of any benefit to their youth players. Ridiculous idea.

Won't this type of idea been kicked into touch by the Government once the football regulator is finally appointed by the new Government, assuming that they are still supporting the cross party proposals.

Have they any strikers that will be on the pitch and we could be interested in? They have a highly talented forward, Mikey Moore but he’s only 17 so I doubt they’re looking for a league loan for him yet. Perhaps next year. One to keep an eye on I suspect. UTG!

Doubt all the youngsters start, but great for them and those that need the minutes. Should be a proper passing game of football too!

Spurs' Mikey Moore a potentially 'generational' talent. Looks a superb prospect.
