Strange one this but could work out. Seen him play plenty of times. Big physical lad who is not the most technical gifted footballers in the world. He always did well going through the Academy age groups but this was because he just used to run through people and leather it! Saw him play at Barnet last season in the same game Greenslade played for Oxford City. They both scored that day but very different players. More of a 9 Fox in the box player than anything else and will give centre backs a hard time but needs more to his game as only seem him affective when running towards Goal. Time will tell and it could be good if given the chances.

That’s Coburn not happening then.
This lad looks like impact sub written all over it to me. Probably very cheap and gives us pace if nothing else
But as others said let’s not write off too early.

Let's see what happens. Remember JCH wasn't exactly prolific before he came to us. Sometimes a player just needs to be given the right opportunity in the right environment. This is my thinking. Or perhaps, hope. Remember the disappointment of players like Tom Nichols and John Marquis.

Surely he's just an academy signing not necessary included as he's under 21 like the chippenham kid.
If it is then the board as given Taylor one of the best budgets ever spending over 1.2 mil since January and signing 16 players in 2024. He's either exhausted the budget or another striker is coming!.

As predicted by myself weeks ago on here… We’ll sign a youngster with little experience from a championship side

I think he may be one we were working on before Martin got injured so expecting us to sign another striker by the end of the day.

We needed a 'body' and this lad is in early and can go into the squad tomorrow And who knows maybe him and Promise might just click

One or two more in, two out on loan. Hopefully.

As predicted by myself weeks ago on here… We’ll sign a youngster with little experience from a championship side Then he's messed up Taylor. The board have given him the best budget in history . He's had two record signings in 2024 : spent big fees on players unlike any other manager and signed 16 in 2024. I think an experienced striker is coming . Even I can't believe he's spent everything except an experienced number 9 .

Meltdown on twitter over this guy he sounds kind of we are missing from a physical standpoint.
Still expecting a free agent like Gayle or Humpfrys by end of day.
(I forgot you can still sign free agents after window)

Welcome to The Memorial Stadium, Gatlin.
Instead of playing 42 times out of 50/51 league fixtures from the bench at Oxford United you will now get real game time.
Played against us TWICE last season.
Saturday 07th October 2023.
OUFC 2 v 1 BRFC
A 70th minute sub.
Saturday 27th January 2024.
BRFC 3 v 1 OUFC
An 81st minute sub.
This might prove to be the most surprisingly positive signing of the Summer.
I'm thinking "Bobby Zamora to BAHA" potential.

I'll happily give the guy a chance
As 19 year I don't expect him to bang the goals in, but if he works his socks off and puts in a good shift when called upon that's all I ask for.
Would like us to had a more experienced option later today 🤞🏻
