Ultimately MT is responsible for setting the team up and getting the best out of what he has available Can anyone see a style or pattern of play? The players don’t know if they are going to get a run of games, and we look very soft. This is a tough league. You need to be organised and well drilled. Considering both him and GF were big old meaty defenders, it’s concerning that we look like a shambles anytime the ball enters our box. Taylor Moore coming back will be welcome, but central defence is a worry. Connor looks a shell of the dominant defender we all love. UTG Problem is where is the big meaty CB, we just have youngsters and Wilson? I thought CT did OK in the first half, as Mansell identified on BRTV Wilson & CT have clearly beein told to protect the near post at corners, so he can't be blamed for the second goal, and had no real involement in the first goal. No

The main worry for me is that we just dont seem to have any real style of play. 4 at the back I definitely agreed with but we create so little it puts massive pressure of us defensively. We went longer 1st half & at least it meant we played more in their half, they rarely threatened and at ht I thought we were fairly comfortable. Then 2nd half for some reason we sat back & almost attempted to see the game out, the equaliser and ultimately winner you could see coming a mile off. I don't know if sacking the manager is the answer but the reaction at full time was telling, if he is still in charge on Tues unfortunately I can see the crowd being down and those that are there turning pretty quickly if things don't start well. Not an easy decision for the owners at all

If we went down with this squad and manager, could we come back stronger? (Obviously, I don't want that. Just asking the question as that IS what happened before) Who knows ? All I know is I won’t be getting a season ticket if we do get relegated. Forked out the best part of a grand this yr for tickets and Brfc tv , all to feel thoroughly miserable after every game . Did you get a season ticket the last time we got relegated? I did, apparently it's the best football we've ever played and we could be the mutts Nutts again in league 2.

So, we are only 5 points from safety. That's not so bad. The only reason Taylor as a 1.05 points ratio is his incredible start in December 2023. Since then his record in any 10 match block is relegation form. It be interesting to see what the forum poll suggest . We don't need a forum poll. I can tell you now, it's gonna say MT out. You have a mix of those with a vested interest and those that just look at the scores and watch on BRFC.

On the way to game today my grandson looking at the team said "Taylor's got near enough £1.5 million worth of players sat on the bench. Who are not good enough or fit enough to start".

Think people forget , there will be loads of cutbacks if we do get relegated and any possible ground improvements will be put on the back burner ( will never happen).

Anyone got any suggestions as to who they would want to come in? Andy Mangan never went to Madrid 🤔 I think MT needs more time but if not MT then I would try for Alex Neil. Well well, funny you should say that! I've been told that he was allegedly at the game today.

After making a two hundred mile round trip to witness that today and then listening to the drivel coming out of our Managers mouth on radio Bristol, why on earth would any sensible person want to keep this Clown as our Manager. Out now I say as it’s clearly going to get worse, surely even our owners can see putting this seasons performances together with last season under Taylor only shows one outcome. The man is clearly stealing a living and lacks any charisma whatsoever to inspire this group of players to put in a decent performance. Have watched all our games this season and apart from a reasonable performance against Cambridge we have been next to useless. Same old Matt I call him and sticking with him will only bring the same old defensive problems and to think the man was a centrehalf in his playing days. As for the turgid football which hardly ever seems to threaten to score a goal that’s just another failing.

Have you read the article? He said certain players need help as they can't cope with the atmosphere at the Mem, hence I assume why he started with so many experienced player and the likes of Hutch & Garrett didn't figure today. Dan Hargreaves is a total tw@t for publishing such a misleading headline when he was telling fans not to boo last week when we're losing.

It's back to the BG squad where we had a load of talented youngsters who couldn't cope with the man's game. It's total madness somebody that thought reverting back to such a squad was a good idea, at least BG's squad were on short contracts this lot are here for 3 years!! JB cleared that entire squad out and brought in a good mix of players, now it looks like somebody else will have to do similar with this squad, if the owners can afford it. Who in their right minds would pay £500K for PC?

Do you actually think players like Hutchinson or Garrett have made it this far without having to deal with a restless crowd giving a bit of stick? I’m just fed up with MT making crap excuses for everything. It’s a young team… It plays like a development team.. It feels the pressure when we concede the first goal… It’s hard to get fitness levels up so we can last 90 mins…. These are all bullshit. The team is no younger than most if not all our opponents. HE feels the pressure when we concede first and he panics and screams and shouts and makes changes that affect people’s ability to get their teeth into the situation and react to it. He’s responsible for fitness. He spoke all pre season about how fit the group are. He then spends all pre season messing around with the team so no one managed a full 90 mins at any point all pre season and insists on changing HALF the playing staff every single game since building up no level of fitness or physical resilience in the players. He’s scared shitless and reacts as such and it’s now spread into the players who almost believe the crap he’s fed into the media and have lost faith in themselves. The fear in his voice is palpable and the negativity and dourness has spread like a cancer. Players who are more than capable at this level are now in and out the side and self doubt is rife. It comes from the manager.

I hadn't heard of that but he'd be my choice and he's actively seeking a new job. If he does join Rovers then I'd expect him to try to sign Ben Pearson on-loan during the next transfer window by which time he might be fit.
