IF Taylor doesn’t turn this around does he go down in history as our worst ever manager given the facilities and the transfer budget he had?

Your the delusional one if you think this is better to watch than bartons team 😂 100% agree with you, Bartons team was exciting to watch, I looked forward to every game unlike now, I give my season ticket away to my son's mate because I can't bare to watch this load of sh**e Why did you look forward to every game when we lost most of them under Barton in L1, both spells? You can't base your whole opinion of him on one season in League 2, which was the only time he was ok, even if he was responsible for the total capitulation that put us there.

It's a bit like fans being desperate for DC to return, they conveniently forget how bad things were before he departed, although whether things were good or bad under JB is totally irrelevant as he's never likely to manage another League club after his ranting on X since he departed. You do wonder if he kept his views to himself when he was our manager or the players just had to ignore it.

Oh really,if you didn't want him in the changing room you wouldn't want him in the team ffs He doesn't want him in the team , Hunt has said he wont play anytime soon also said he's not injured , defo getting changed in the sh**ter . Must of killed him to have to play him Saturday If that's true then it sounds very immature

Do you remember Ben Garner Did he have a mil to spend did he? Wael wouldn't allow moves for Ebou Adams and Joe Pigott (went on to score 20 goals) when given indication both were available.

Like the 4-1 defeat at Exeter and being beaten at home by Swindon, Newport, Stevenage etc? Barton in fact only had half a season of good results. Up to Christmas/New Year, we were 15th or 16th.

Do you remember Ben Garner Happy to be corrected but I believe we were just above the bottom four when BG was dismissed, oddly we weren't doing too bad away from home and our next fixture was at Swindon who were in such disarray the manager wasn't even attending training sessions. PPM wise BG was on course to just about keep us up, I can't see MT can be achieving that at the moment? BG also did the opposite of MT, he sold JCH and was given very little to invest in the squad, apart from paying a fee for Hanlon.

MT has benefited from good training facilities which many of our past disaster-managers did not, he was given a reasonable budget to build a team which many of past-managers did not get and his backroom staff are of his choosing. MT knows he's drinking in last chance saloon and with two failures on his CV finding another job won't be easy for him. He seems a decent guy and I wanted it to work for him but it's not. He does not appear to have the tactical nouse for the level of football to which we aspire. He's got two games at most to prove me wrong I suspect.

We were about 3 points off the play offs when Barton was sacked in October for some disappointing results. I felt he was a little unlucky really as we were competing in games at least. A year later after a complete rebuild and we appear to be worse. I’ve been a gashead my whole life and tbh I’m getting fed up with the cycle of sack manager, recruit new manager, the players aren’t good enough, struggle half a season, recruit new players, struggle with new players, sack manager. etc etc. It’s getting quite boring!

I totally agree with this. Supporting the club for a very long time and to be fair we surely have had our fill of boring managers, playing boring football. At least when Denis and Geoff saved the club, most of us mucked in to support our Rag Bag Rovers and there was a purpose and a feeling of we were all part of the club. Now what do we have…. Poor football, poor results from a poor management team and a divided fan base. It is a such a crying shame with the untapped support potential that we have, we are unable to attract a decent named manager that can see the potential of this club and DO something about it. How many more senior gasheads need to pass away, before somebody gets a grip on the situation and seizes the opportunity to take this club where it surely deserves to be?
