Hard to remain optimistic given current form.
Confidence will be very low after 4 straight defeats, not helped by losing in the dying seconds on Saturday. We're second bottom of the form table over the past 6 games, and rock bottom over the last 4. 11 goals conceded in our last 4 is also the worst defensive record in L1 over that period.
Performances have not improved despite changes to personel and formations etc.
We need to get a win somehow to stop the rot and give the team a bit of belief going into a big game on Saturday. Can we do it? Unfortunately, I think it's highly unlikely. Best we can hope for is a draw in my opinion, but if you were a betting man, I think you'd be putting your money on an away win.

More of the same, louder boos at full time, Taylor to juggle the side this evening and formation, he’s changed this 5 times already this season!! 3-1 Charlton win.

Well I now feel a bit like the Manager- I haven't a clue on the best team, I don't know who is fit to play and who isn't, Haven't a clue what the best formation is,couldn't recognise half the players as haven't seen them enough.
Personally I would pick the team on the reputation of the players based on their clubs last season and I would attack the opposition. Good players don't become poor all together unless they are mostly played in the wrong positions and only given instructions on defending and are not very good at it.
There are goals in the side so lets bloody attack but the best move would be to leave the Manager at home doing a bit of gardening. Seriously can see no further than a Charlton win.

The only positive I can cling to is the law of averages. Surely we will win another game at some point in time? Why not tonight 🤷♂️
Alternatively, perhaps someone could let MT’s tyres down so he can’t get to the game - someone else on the staff can step in and they might change our fortunes? The fanbase can do it’s part by inundating the AA, RAC and taxi firms will false calls so nobody will be available to help him out 😁

People will know that I live with my heart on my sleeve. The facts suggest that we could struggle tonight. I am hopeful that the team will respond tonight and surprise a few, including me.
It’s time that this team showed us their best. I am crossing my fingers and hope for a win and a performance that can calm our fears.
My prediction 1-0 gas. Absolutely, no facts support this prediction. I have a feeling, and this my friends, is all that I have to offer.
Will Hope be enough?
Fingers crossed that hope can win the day.

I’d go for:
Griffiths
Hunt Taylor Wilson Mola
Ward Conteh Lindsay
Thomas Omochere Sinclair

I’d go for: Griffiths Hunt Taylor Wilson Mola Ward Conteh Lindsay Thomas Omochere Sinclair I’d go something like that, only issue is that midfield is very ‘samey’ in the sense that none are likely to drive forward, don’t think any of them will score more than 2-3 all season? Whoever gets the shirt needs to go out with a positive mindset, we need to get behind them, I’ve a feeling o’donker might start, Shaq attack off the bench in a 2-1 win UTG |
