Most coherent performance of the season, we actually looked like a team and not just individuals.
Worth noting Charlton were very poor, but can only beat what's in front of you.
Hunt and Bilongo high up the pitch and then allowed Wilson and Mola to push further forward and get us on the front foot.
Conteh quietly superb, cleaning up and stopping counters.
Could actually see a style of play, balls into channels, stretching Charlton and creating space in the middle and around the edge of the box.
To a man, a great effort. Working for each other and giving options, not perfect but a positive step.
I understand wanting to get minutes into subs and at 3-0 up you expect to see the game out but as others have said the subs are trying so hard to impress that we couldn't just be boring and waste time and slow things down.
Onwards to Burton, need to follow up with another positive result and performance.

Can always rely on Charlton to stop a rut ladies and gents. Lovely away day as usual, just a shame about the result.

Just saw in another thread apparently 19:30 is cutoff. Think it was about 19:20 iirc but could be wrong tbf You were 8 pints in at that point so had no idea ! 😂 Definitely 19:20, I know because I remember while I was arguing with the bar tender the ref blew up for full time 🥴 |

Subtle changes made second half last night. Scotty playing number 10 behind the strikers then pushing up. Promise pushed out wide (which was where he played for Fleetwood). Both were superb in those positions! Hopefully MT will continue with this.
