They’re entitled to 15% so we have to give them more Isn't that what they've got based on East side being closed. Think they'll get another block of south stand and rightly so The East stand being closed is irrelevant if it’s a voluntary closure. They are entitled to 15% of full capacity.

What else can a football club do but mention it on social media, it's not like they can take out adverts in the press or on TV, or in billboards? The Ted's do all those 3 and radio and leaflets at all Bristol schools and buses and ...... Need I go on 😄

Fully expect to see a few ted shirts and perhaps a flag in the away end. Could be feisty and we'll probably ship a few goals. Hopefully a cracking game and great opportunity for Weston-super-Mare.

I imagine Weston themselves would rather not have a load of morons amongst their away following stirring up trouble. Though I can’t see how them saying only previous purchasers of tickets can buy them as I imagine plenty of Teds are on that list anyway.

It would be extremely simple to circumnavigate any controls that wsm will put on. Most wsm fans will know a ted that will purchase a ticket from them if they really want one. WSM will also be cashing in on record requests for tickets. Any trouble falls upon the home side to police anyway, so it's no great shakes for them and I doubt there's much trouble at your average weston match. It will only take a handful of Ted's in that south stand to give it the w4nker sign and it will start bubbling up.

Incredibly naive of anyone to think there will be no bother at this one. There are definitely City supporters buying tickets for the game that aren't necessarily interested in the actual result.
Hope they find only the daft sods who want to join them in their silly games.

I just think that WSM would rather not have the extra revenue if it means they look like their fans are morons because some Shithead day-trippers have ruined it. It could mean they’d need to shell out for extra police at other games all because of people that don’t even support them!

It will be interesting to see the level of policing for this game - I presume that if only genuine WSM supporters are attending, it would be minimal.

If in the post MT era we ever end up in the same division as City will we let them have any tickets - just as a precaution in case any City fans manage to get tickets? 😁

I thought the club said that season ticket holders had first choice over tickets for this match. So I went to book my ticket in my normal seat to find it has been sold as have all the seats around it. May have considered sitting in the south stand but none available there. Don't understand this, don't stand up for 90 minutes these days so will have to miss the match. Shame as I was looking forward to this local derby , it would probably have been our biggest gate of the season so far with a big away following, but half the ground seams closed to home fans, how stupid.

There are seats available in west stand and south west stand I've just looked. So you can go.

Very odd if Weston haven’t received any more tickets for a game where we have closed half the ground. Couldn’t organise a water up in a brewery at rovers

the whole thing sounds pretty shambolic. Maybe its me but I think there's a huge potential for a big attendance (maybe trouble as well) but shutting half the ground, messing season tickets holder around and losing possible first timers with kids and families seems a massive own goal by rovers

Another victory for WsM tonight Now 15 games without defeat, I’m sure WsM and their fans will be travelling full of confidence, in numbers and in full voice
