Potential for a cup shock if we don't being our best 👍
Weston could be playing in the Vanarama National next season if they can keep this awesome start to the season up which would be huge for them.

OK. I know some are going to say that Meldrew is off on one again! I am a season ticket holder in the South Stand. I am 80 years of age and having had both knees replaced cannot stand for lengthy periods. So the South and East stand is closed for the Weston cup tie. How nice of the club to make sure that regular, faithful fans who have paid up front for the season are forced to stand if they wish to attend this game. This is an insult to people like me who find themselves in this position. And they wonder why people are staying away. The mind boggles.

They quite simply don’t care, perhaps they should take a good look in the mirror when they see the empty spaces.

I thought the club said that season ticket holders had first choice over tickets for this match. So I went to book my ticket in my normal seat to find it has been sold as have all the seats around it. May have considered sitting in the south stand but none available there. Don't understand this, don't stand up for 90 minutes these days so will have to miss the match. Shame as I was looking forward to this local derby , it would probably have been our biggest gate of the season so far with a big away following, but half the ground seams closed to home fans, how stupid. There are seats available in west stand and south west stand I've just looked. So you can go. Thank you for that info, I checked for the West stand and it is sold out (seats that is), I like sitting there as I can then sit with people i know. If I wanted to sit in the family stand then I would have a season ticket for there. Our gate last night was the lowest at this level for a league game since lock down, you would think the club would open up all the stands to encourage people to come along and get extra revenue in. How does the club think it was going to get fans seated in the East and South stands into an area that take little more than 1,000 seated supporters . I pay over £500.00 a year for my season ticket (including card), so you would think the club would show season ticket holders a bit of loyalty and allow them to use the seat or area they normally sit in for cup games.

the whole thing sounds pretty shambolic. Maybe its me but I think there's a huge potential for a big attendance (maybe trouble as well) but shutting half the ground, messing season tickets holder around and losing possible first timers with kids and families seems a massive own goal by rovers Agreed, I'm in this camp. I was going to bring my 3 kids who have been asking to go to a game, but cost is an issue. But I'm not going to bring them to a game when half the ground is shut, it just doesn't make for a good experience.

What bothers me is that my seat in the south stand may be used by a Sheed.

I have been tasked with getting tickets for 11 friends & family.. looks like the only seated area available now is the Family Stand.
Seems absolutely mad not to open up the East Stand really. Wonder if they will if the rest of the stadium sells out?

Genuine question….. who do we go to now with our gripes and moans now that Gorringe has gone ? Is there someone at the club with any clout that could be contacted asking why the East stand is closed for this game etc ?

I think that is reserved for away fans only Oh great. My lot and I are Season Ticket holders in the East Stand so now the only place to get a seat (there's 7 of us), is in the Family Stand? Can't see us bothering if that's the case.

It seems reality is sinking in.The South and East stand are both closed for this game so that means I for one will be unable to be there 'cause I can't stand for long periods. I hope the club is happy that they are letting down regular fans who have paid up front but still don't mind paying again. How much longer are we going to be taken for mugs?

As the west terrace uses the same facilities - lack of is another discussionn - as the south stand why is the south stand closed. Granted they may give Weston more tickets but surely there is a maximum and we'd still get a couple of blocks towards the west end. Isn't this how it operates anyway. Would like to know number of seated ST ticket holders and number of seats available for Weston.
