Must win game against Shrewsbury on tues night . Will Taylor still be in charge going into the game ? I think so , but if it is a defeat would surely end his short reign at the Gas . No idea what side he’ll pick or even who he should pick because let’s be honest no one has really shone this season and lots of players have had poor performances.
A good test that we should win .

I think we’ll win. It won’t be pretty but I think he’s built a side that’s good enough to stay up and so far this season we’ve got wins v teams we would be expected to beat and lost to the sides that would be expected to beat us. We could be 8 points off the drop by Tuesday night or only two so with so much pressure seemingly on him it really does feel like a massive game. UTG

Must win if Taylor is to keep his job.

Win or bust for Taylor. A defeat and he’s gone.

If he doesn’t win he should go.
Have been backing him but I’m starting to doubt if that’s a good idea.
In reality we’re mostly beating the teams we should and losing to those who would be difficult anyway. So I’m not sure it’s as bad as it seems.
But we’re making very hard work of the games against the big clubs. Is that a consequence of a youngish squad? Is it a confidence thing we can work on? Not sure.

Are we going to have a cycle of several losses with very bad performances followed by the odd backs to wall ugly win that keeps enabling to stay in his job? He sets his teams up so negatively, it’s hard to watch and the players are drained of confidence. Is that really going to change with simply the odd home win to keep us interested?
He was poor last season. Most have given him a chance with his own players this season. I’ve never taken to him and always had a bad feeling of how it would turn out under MT. There just doesn’t seem any point in carrying on with him imo.

The starting 11 today was mainly senior pros, the expectation being BB, as Conteh has played enough international football to surely cope with the pressure of a L1 game? Oddly we again played better when the youngsters came on, but you just know if they'd started they'd look different players.

This - and where my head is at this morning. When you view it that way it's not really surprising at all. But I do think it's only a matter of time before we're drawing or losing to teams we should be beating unfortunately

When does keeping his job on 1 result run out? If we had been beat by charlton he would probably have gone...since then it's been appalling, we keep that cycle and we'll go down. He's completely sucked all life out of the club, performances are dire and the absolute negative dross he comes out with is so draining which has resulted in the crowds dropping right off and the quietest Mem we have had for years. Sad times

A win over the shrews and an away win at Reading will see the play offs being talked about again.
Too many negative fans want Rovers to lose
Unbelievable

We'll also just stay quiet on the 4 nil at Swindle...

Shrewsbury have been pretty dire so far this season, nothing other than a win is acceptable.
Even then I think Taylor’s position is so precarious that it’s only a matter of time.

Too many negative fans want Rovers to lose Unbelievable Not sure that anybody wants us to lose.(you call us Rovers I notice..) Negativity doesn't really come into it either. Being positive or negative won't affect the result. The evidence on show is that we are not very good, so fans are likely to predict a poor result.

One thing that annoys me the most is the way Taylor bums up the opposition so much before every game, yesterday Huddersfield had INCREDIBLE players, really? His pre match talk must make the players feel we are playing Man City, they must feel a 3. 1 defeat is a good result against such incredible players

Should be gone anyway in my opinion. He’s out of ideas. 2-1 win to shrews.
