Big week for Rovers. Big week for the country........
Why its important for people to vote Labour on Thursday. Nothing could be worse than waking up with five more years of the Tories!
Have the Tories got a list like this? Be great to see it. They haven't got a list and if they have they don't like talking about it!
1. Because Labour will stand up for everyone, not just a privileged few.
2. Labour will raise the minimum wage to more than £8 by October 2019 and promote the living wage.
3. Labour will ban exploitative zero-hours contracts so that anyone working regular hours for more than 12 weeks can get a regular contract. David Cameron said he couldn't live on one. If he can't, then no one should have to.
4. Labour won't give tax breaks to millionaires (the Tories did in 2013, and they're likely to do it again if they win). We'll cut tax for millions of people on low and middle incomes instead.
5. Labour will clamp down on tax avoidance and ban 'non-dom' status (which was created in 1799 and a lot has changed since then...).
6. Labour will cut the deficit every year and balance the books, sensibly and fairly, without the extreme spending cuts the Tories are planning to make.
7. Labour will scrap the Bedroom Tax (from day one) that hits the disabled and most vulnerable in society.
8. Labour will extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours a week for working parents of three- and four-year-olds.
9. Labour will control immigration with fair rules and make it illegal for employers to undercut wages by exploiting workers.
10. Labour are the party that will save the NHS.
11. Labour founded the NHS in 1948, it is one of Labours proudest achievements, and they have saved it from crisis before.
12. In five years of Tory-led government we've all seen rising waiting times, increasing privatisation and falling standards.
13. Labour will train and recruit 20,000 more nurses and 8,000 more doctors by 2020, paid for by tackling tax avoidance, a levy on tobacco companies, and a tax on the most expensive properties worth over £2 million. Labour will guarantee a GP appointment within 48 hours - and on the same day for those who need it.
14. Labour will radically improve mental health provision, especially for young people, by prioritising investment in under-18s and making sure teachers are trained to spot problems early.
15. Labour will stop Tory privatisation of the NHS and cap the profits private companies can make from providing NHS services.
16. Because Labour are the party that cares about creating opportunities for all young people.
17. Labour will cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000 (which will help students and is also good for our economy).
18. Labour will make sure that there is an apprenticeship for any school leaver that gets the grades. Labour will also improve technical education and careers advice in schools to help students prepare for jobs. If you chose not to go to university, your future should be as secure as if you do.
19. Labou deliver smaller class sizes for five, six and seven-year olds to give all children the best start.
20. Because Labour will end rip-off prices on services that people rely on.
21. Labour will freeze energy bills until 2017 so they can fall but not rise, and give the regulator the power to cut bills when wholesale prices fall. No-one should have to choose between heating and eating.
22. Labour will get a fairer deal for renters by banning rip-off letting fees and capping rents at the rate of inflation during secure three-year tenancies.
23. Labour will freeze rail fares in the first year of a Labour Government while we reform the railways.
24. Labour are determined to tackle climate change and create a million green jobs.
Because the choice at this election is between a Labour government or five more years of the Tories.

1. Because Labour will stand up for everyone, not just a privileged few. - Really?
2. Labour will raise the minimum wage to more than £8 by October 2019 and promote the living wage. - and how are small businesses going to afford this?
3. Labour will ban exploitative zero-hours contracts so that anyone working regular hours for more than 12 weeks can get a regular contract. David Cameron said he couldn't live on one. If he can't, then no one should have to. - Nothing wrong with the contracts.
4. Labour won't give tax breaks to millionaires (the Tories did in 2013, and they're likely to do it again if they win). We'll cut tax for millions of people on low and middle incomes instead. - Um, why didn't Labour do this when in power for 13 years? How will Labour cut theses taxes for millions, while at the same time increasing the government spending?
5. Labour will clamp down on tax avoidance and ban 'non-dom' status (which was created in 1799 and a lot has changed since then...). - Tax Avoidance is not illegal, in fact, it is totally legal. As for Non-Doms, who do pay UK tax on money they earn in the UK all you will do is lose money. Emotional policies without any financial justification.
6. Labour will cut the deficit every year and balance the books, sensibly and fairly, without the extreme spending cuts the Tories are planning to make. - They didn't do this in 13 years. How are the same people who helped crash the economy suddenly going to become financially dependable?
7. Labour will scrap the Bedroom Tax (from day one) that hits the disabled and most vulnerable in society. - It is not a tax.
8. Labour will extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours a week for working parents of three- and four-year-olds. - Why didn't they do this when in power for 13 years?
9. Labour will control immigration with fair rules and make it illegal for employers to undercut wages by exploiting workers. - They cannot control immigration, we all know this, so why bother claiming they will?
10. Labour are the party that will save the NHS. - Emotional politics yet again. Was Mid Staffs 'saving our NHS'?
11. Labour founded the NHS in 1948, it is one of Labours proudest achievements, and they have saved it from crisis before. - Nonsense.
12. In five years of Tory-led government we've all seen rising waiting times, increasing privatisation and falling standards. - With the main issues being uncontrolled immigration, the GP contracts which pay GP's more money for doing less, and PFI deals which are bankrupting the NHS.........all Labour policies.
- Total nonsense. Pray tell us all how you are going to train these people within 5 years? It can't happen.
14. Labour will radically improve mental health provision, especially for young people, by prioritising investment in under-18s and making sure teachers are trained to spot problems early.
15. Labour will stop Tory privatisation of the NHS and cap the profits private companies can make from providing NHS services. - More of the NHS was privatised under Labour than the Tories. That is a fact.
16. Because Labour are the party that cares about creating opportunities for all young people. - Nonsense. Why is unemployment ALWAYS higher when a Labour government leaves office compared to when it took office?
17. Labour will cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000 (which will help students and is also good for our economy). - Are these the tuition fees that Labour introduced?
18. Labour will make sure that there is an apprenticeship for any school leaver that gets the grades. Labour will also improve technical education and careers advice in schools to help students prepare for jobs. If you chose not to go to university, your future should be as secure as if you do. - Please tell us all how a Labour government are going to create apprenticeships in the private sector?
19. Labou deliver smaller class sizes for five, six and seven-year olds to give all children the best start. - Why didn't they do this when in power for 13 years?
20. Because Labour will end rip-off prices on services that people rely on. - Um, WTF?
21. Labour will freeze energy bills until 2017 so they can fall but not rise, and give the regulator the power to cut bills when wholesale prices fall. No-one should have to choose between heating and eating. - Price controls really work don't they! Haven't Labour learnt anything from the past?
22. Labour will get a fairer deal for renters by banning rip-off letting fees and capping rents at the rate of inflation during secure three-year tenancies. - A barmy policy.
23. Labour will freeze rail fares in the first year of a Labour Government while we reform the railways. - Ah, so the old British Rail was a rip roaring success wasn't it ?
24. Labour are determined to tackle climate change and create a million green jobs. - This really is just nonsense talk. One million green jobs.......please, try to stay serious.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like it was arranged like that by the organisers. It wasn't a labour rally. We need to ask the organisers. Does seem strange Nobby. Are you still voting UKIP? As it happens I think labour are In a good place on giving women more power. There are 148 women MP's and only 48 are conservatives. There will be lots more labour women on Friday morning. I see Russell Brand, Delia Smith, Paul O'Grady and millions more are voting labour. Tories have been caught out by not being open about what they plan to do to working people. Bye bye Dave and the tories!!!

SORRY ABOUT CAPS. I WANTED TO SHOW YOU WHY SO MANY ARE VOTING LABOUR. THE TORIES JUST DONT GET WORKING PEOPLE OR THE CIRCUMSTANCES THEY ARE IN. THEY LOOK AFTER THE VERY RICH AND HOPE THAT THE ODD BIT OF TRICKLE DOWN KEEPS EVERYONE HAPPY. THE SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN SEEMS TO BE WORKING. THE TORIES STILL ONLY HAVE 33% OF THE VOTE. PLEASE, PLEASE IGNORE THE POLITICS OF FEAR AND GO WITH THE PARTY THAT LOOKS FORWARD AND NOT BACK. ARE THERE 25 TORY POLICIES WE COULD ALL HAVE A LOOK AT. PLEASE, PLEASE GO AND FIND THEM. FUTURE POLICIES FROM THE TORIES - WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY YET. THANKS NOBBY - PLEASE ENJOY MY RESPONSES AND VOTE LABOUR IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR SO MANY.
1. Because Labour will stand up for everyone, not just a privileged few. - Really? ALWAYS HAVE DONE.....
2. Labour will raise the minimum wage to more than £8 by October 2019 and promote the living wage. - and how are small businesses going to afford this? £8 AN HOUR WILL BE AFFORDABLE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. PERHAPS THE OWNERS PAY THEMSELVES LESS. ANYWAY LABOUR ARE GIVING TAX BREAKS TO COMPANIES WHO PAY LIVING WAGE; TAX PAYER PAID 11 BILLION LAST YEAR TOPPING UP THE WAGES OF SUPERMARKET WORKERS. £8 AN HOUR SEEMS FAIR TO ME.
3. Labour will ban exploitative zero-hours contracts so that anyone working regular hours for more than 12 weeks can get a regular contract. David Cameron said he couldn't live on one. If he can't, then no one should have to. - Nothing wrong with the contracts. THE KEY IS THE EXPLOITATIVE ONES. LABOUR ARE NOT BANNING ALL. IF YOU WANT ONE YOU CAN HAVE ONE.
THEY DID! TAX RATE WAS 50% IN 2010. THE COALITION DURING THE HIEGHT OF THE ECONOMIC CRISIS DECREASED IT FOR MILLIONAIRES AND ANYONE EARNING OVER £150, 000 a year. IN IT TOGETHER THE TORIES SAID. HARDLY.
THE RICHEST AND WEALTHY SHOULD PAY MORE. THEY LIVE HERE LIKE YOU AND ME, GET ALL THE BENEFITS AND SHOULD PAY A LITTLE MORE. IT SEEMS FAIR TO OVER 67% WHO LIKE THE POLICY
6. Labour will cut the deficit every year and balance the books, sensibly and fairly, without the extreme spending cuts the Tories are planning to make. - They didn't do this in 13 years. How are the same people who helped crash the economy suddenly going to become financially dependable? LABOUR DIDNT CRASH THE WORLD WIDE ECONOMY. THE WORLD WIDE BANKS DID. CIVAL SERVICE HAS CONFIRMED THE CRISIS WAS CREATED BY BANKS NOT LABOUR. GEORGE OSBOURNE SAID HE WOULD MATCH LABOUR SPENDING PLANS AND AGREED WITH THE PLANS. IN 2010 THE GROWTH WAS 1% AND NOW ITS 0.3%. THE TORIES HAVE ALSO INCREASED OUR DEBT FROM 900BILLION TO 1.5 TRILLION. ECONOMIC COMPETENCE IS A LIE.
7. Labour will scrap the Bedroom Tax (from day one) that hits the disabled and most vulnerable in society. - It is not a tax. SOUNDS LIKE A TAX TO ME WHEN THE VULNERABLE HAVE TO PAY MORE WHEN THEY HAVE AN EXTRA BEDROOM.
8. Labour will extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours a week for working parents of three- and four-year-olds. - Why didn't they do this when in power for 13 years? LABOUR SPENT MONEY ON SURESTART CENTRES. TORIES GOT RID OF OVER 200 OF THEM.
9. Labour will control immigration with fair rules and make it illegal for employers to undercut wages by exploiting workers. - They cannot control immigration, we all know this, so why bother claiming they will? IMMIGRATION FROM EUROPE CANT BE CONTROLLED. OVER 1MILLION UK WORKERS WORK IN EUROPE TODAY. YOU CAN CONTROL IMMIGRATION OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY.
10. Labour are the party that will save the NHS. - Emotional politics yet again. Was Mid Staffs 'saving our NHS'? HAVE YOU BEEN TO AN NHS HOSPITAL OR SURGERY RECENTLY. ITS A NIGHTMARE. THE TORIES WILL GET RID OF IT IN NEXT FIVE YEARS OR CEATE A TWO TIER SYSTEM. IF YOU HAVE MONEY YOU WILL GET THE PRIVATE ROOM. IF YOU HAVE NOT GOT THE MONEY YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL A BED IS AVAILABLE. BAD NEWS FOR MILLIONS!
11. Labour founded the NHS in 1948, it is one of Labours proudest achievements, and they have saved it from crisis before. - Nonsense. NO. THE TORIES RESTRICTED HOSPITAL BUILDING AND NHS COSTS DURING THE LAST TIME THE TORIES WERE IN POWER. WE SAVED IT THEN AND WILL SAVE IT AGAIN. IN 1997, HOSPITALS WERE IN TATTERS AND MILLIONS NEEDED TO WAIT. THE TORIES THIS TIME HAVE INCREASED A&E WAITING TIMES, SHUT DOWN WALK IN CENTRES, GOT RID OF NHSDIRECT, LESS GP'S FOR THE POPULATION.
12. In five years of Tory-led government we've all seen rising waiting times, increasing privatisation and falling standards. - With the main issues being uncontrolled immigration, the GP contracts which pay GP's more money for doing less, and PFI deals which are bankrupting the NHS.........all Labour policies. THE TORIES WASTED 3 BILLION ON A TOP DOWN REORGANISATION; THE NHS CAN ONLY RUN WITH IMMIGRATION, MANY DOCTORS AND NURSES COME FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UK. PFI STARTED WITH JOHN MAJOR. THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE THE CRUMBLING HOSPITALS AND SCHOOLS WAS TO USE PFI'S. IM HAPPY TO PAY MORE TAX ARE YOU?
- Total nonsense. Pray tell us all how you are going to train these people within 5 years? It can't happen. IT CAN HAPPEN AND WILL HAPPEN. DOCTORS ARE BEING TRAINED NOW AND LABOUR WILL STOP THEM LEAVING. SOME OF THEM WILL COME FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UK. IM HAPPY WITH IT IF PEOPLE WHO NEED IT GET THE SERVICE THEY REQUIRE.
NO ITS NOT A FACT. THE NEXT LABOUR GOVERNMENT WILL REMOVE THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ACT WHICH HAS BOUGHT MORE PRIVATISATION IN ITS ENTIRE HISTORY. THIS WILL MEAN THAT PRIVATE BIDDERS WILL NOT BE THE PREFERRED BIDDERS AS IT IS CURRENTLY
16. Because Labour are the party that cares about creating opportunities for all young people. - Nonsense. Why is unemployment ALWAYS higher when a Labour government leaves office compared to when it took office? IT WASNT UNTIL THE WORLD WIDE ECONOMIC CRISIS. TORIES ONCE SAID THAT UNEMPLOYMENT WAS A PRICE WORTH PAYING. WHO VOTES FOR TORIES? THE ONLY POSTERS ARE IN BIG HOUSES AND FARM FIELDS.
17. Labour will cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000 (which will help students and is also good for our economy). - Are these the tuition fees that Labour introduced? YES. THEY WERE INTRODUCED TO INCREASE HIGHER EDUCATION FUNDING. IT WAS £3000 IN 2010. THE TORUES HAD TO TREBLE THE TUITION FEES AS THEY CUT HIGHER EDUCATION BUDGET BY 80%. YOU CANT TRUST TORIES.
COMPANIES WHO BID FOR LARGE GOVERNMENT CONTRACT WILL NEED TO EMPLOY APPRENTICES. 32K APPRENTICES WILL COME FROM HS2 RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE. LABOUR WILL SPEND 1 BILLION BUT SPEND IT BETTER AND GIVE COMPANIES MORE CONTROL.
19. Labou deliver smaller class sizes for five, six and seven-year olds to give all children the best start. - Why didn't they do this when in power for 13 years? THEY DID. IT WAS THE TORIES THAT WENT BACK ON IT. THERE ARE CHILDREN TURNING UP HUNGRY. CLASS SIZES HAVE INCREASED WITH UNQUALIFIED TEACHERS
20. Because Labour will end rip-off prices on services that people rely on. - Um, WTF? LABOUR WILL FREEZE ENERGY PRICES BY ENSURING THEY CAN FALL BUT NOT RISE. ALSO CAP RAIL FARES THAT HAVE INCREASED BY 25% IN THIS PARLIAMENT. THE TORIES RIP WORKING OFF AND MILLIONS HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
21. Labour will freeze energy bills until 2017 so they can fall but not rise, and give the regulator the power to cut bills when wholesale prices fall. No-one should have to choose between heating and eating. - Price controls really work don't they! Haven't Labour learnt anything from the past? IT WORKED IN THE PAST. WHY DO WORKING PEOPLE HAVE TO PAY MORE AND THE SHAREHOLDERS GET HUGE PROFITS AND BUBBLY AT THE SHAREHOLDERS MEETING
22. Labour will get a fairer deal for renters by banning rip-off letting fees and capping rents at the rate of inflation during secure three-year tenancies. - A barmy policy. I LOVE THIS POLICY. PEOPLE ARE BEING RIPPED BY PRIVATE LANDLORDS WHILE THEY LIVE IN PROPERTIES THAT NEED REPAIR. HOMELESSNESS HAS INCREASED BY A HUGE AMOUNT. CAPPING RENTS REDUCES HOUSING BENEFIT COSTS TO TAX PAYER. DOESNT SEEM BARMY TO ME.
23. Labour will freeze rail fares in the first year of a Labour Government while we reform the railways. - Ah, so the old British Rail was a rip roaring success wasn't it ? YES IT WAS, CERTAINLY BETTER THAN THE PRESENT SYSTEM WHERE RAIL PRICES HAVE RISEN AFFECTING LIVING STANDARDS.
24. Labour are determined to tackle climate change and create a million green jobs. - This really is just nonsense talk. One million green jobs.......please, try to stay serious. THROUGH THE GREEN INVESTMENT BANK AND RENEWABLE ENERGY.

1. Because Labour will stand up for everyone, not just a privileged few. - Really? ALWAYS HAVE DONE..... Only for their own it's one thing weve been shown again and again
£8 AN HOUR SEEMS FAIR TO ME.
it's only fair if the companies can afford it if a guys employing a couple of people and not making much it will be a case of letting some go with others taking up the slack
So no change from now then as people will still sign em just to work
4. Labour won't give tax breaks to millionaires (the Tories did in 2013, and they're likely to do it again if they win). We'll cut tax for millions of people on low and middle incomes instead. - Um, why didn't Labour do this when in power for 13 years? THE COALITION DURING THE HIEGHT OF THE ECONOMIC CRISIS DECREASED IT FOR MILLIONAIRES AND ANYONE EARNING OVER £150, 000 a year. IN IT TOGETHER THE TORIES SAID. HARDLY.
more millionaires moving away then so less tax will be collected, why should someone pay a lot more just because they are doing better than us
THE RICHEST AND WEALTHY SHOULD PAY MORE. THEY LIVE HERE LIKE YOU AND ME, GET ALL THE BENEFITS AND SHOULD PAY A LITTLE MORE. IT SEEMS FAIR TO OVER 67% WHO LIKE THE POLICY
Again if someone works hard and makes more money why should they be stung
IN 2010 THE GROWTH WAS 1% AND NOW ITS 0.3%. THE TORIES HAVE ALSO INCREASED OUR DEBT FROM 900BILLION TO 1.5 TRILLION. ECONOMIC COMPETENCE IS A LIE.
one of the quickest way to balance the books would be to pull out of euroupe as we seem to pay more in than almost anyone, labour have never even come close to balancing anything , where is this money coming from ah lets just print some more
7. Labour will scrap the Bedroom Tax (from day one) that hits the disabled and most vulnerable in society. - It is not a tax. SOUNDS LIKE A TAX TO ME WHEN THE VULNERABLE HAVE TO PAY MORE WHEN THEY HAVE AN EXTRA BEDROOM.
simple answer is to move to a smaller property, i have to find money to pay for the extra bedroom i think it's only fair, and besides Bristol city council have charged extra rent to tenants whose kids are still at home when they hit 18, no-one seems to complain about that
8. Labour will extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours a week for working parents of three- and four-year-olds. - Why didn't they do this when in power for 13 years? LABOUR SPENT MONEY ON SURESTART CENTRES. TORIES GOT RID OF OVER 200 OF THEM.
smoke ,mirrors and snake oil spring to mind as this will help a few, simple answer is to live within your means then one parent can stay home with the sprogs
Yes ok how as more immigrants came in during labours reign than before, the only way to curb it is pull out of Europe and have an Australian style rules, Oh btw did you forget milliband calling Cameron a murderer as he would not take the latest round of boat people, so straight away thats on policy labour promise but will break from day one
Ah so its the tories fault the population of the uk have gone up, as for costs get rid of excess managers, that will save a lot of money for starters, would this be the same nhs direct who when you rang advised you to go to casualty and wait
IM HAPPY TO PAY MORE TAX ARE YOU?
so you decry tory tax rises then say you are willing to pay more, methinks you arnt thinking this through, so we allow doctors and nurses to come from abroad, hmm more people here using the services, so waiting times etc will in effect stay the same as there will be more demand, crumbling hospitals , cant remember one crumbling
IM HAPPY WITH IT IF PEOPLE WHO NEED IT GET THE SERVICE THEY REQUIRE.
the gp waiting time wont improve as they are being put upon already many gp's are leaving because the workload is increasing, 20,00 nurses yeah ok , again in another post you mention imagration controls and then say bring nurses in from other countries, who would not in a million years be traind to uk standards, so lets just put more people at risk, again why tax people based on the price of their houses an awful lot of people bought houses after or before the war osme of these are worth an absolute fortune, why should they be taxed more, you say the so called bedroom tax is wrong but you support a house price tax make your mind up
14. Labour will radically improve mental health provision, especially for young people, by prioritising investment in under-18s and making sure teachers are trained to spot problems early.
Rich please be real, even trick cyclists cant spot mental health problems in everyone, so now teachers will have something else to do instead of teach and this will help learning how, this is just patronising hog wash from a muppet who seems to jump on bandwagons, the mental health services in this country work and work well
15. Labour will stop Tory privatisation of the NHS and cap the profits private companies can make from providing NHS services. - More of the NHS was privatised under Labour than the Tories. That is a fact.
THE ONLY POSTERS ARE IN BIG HOUSES AND FARM FIELDS.
rich do you read what you post or just blindly copy and past, do not forget you said apprenticeships for those with exam passes, which again leaves out a lot of young people who ar blindingly brilliant with their hand but couldn't get good grades academicaly ,sorry but you cant have it both ways
YOU CANT TRUST TORIES.
best way to reduce uni costs is get rid of stupid courses that arent relevant to anything, degrees mean nothing to the majority of employers ,hence why so many uni graduate work in low paid jobs
COMPANIES WHO BID FOR LARGE GOVERNMENT CONTRACT WILL NEED TO EMPLOY APPRENTICES. 32K APPRENTICES WILL COME FROM HS2 RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE. LABOUR WILL SPEND 1 BILLION BUT SPEND IT BETTER AND GIVE COMPANIES MORE CONTROL.
Oh nice one so labour will only help those who qualify academicaly, and ignore those whose practical skills are second to none, very selective from tha party of everyone
Ah that old chestnut if the kids are hungry the parents need to take a good long look at themselves
THE TORIES RIP WORKING OFF AND MILLIONS HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
see reply below
Ah so how will that work energy cost go up as does the fuel needed to run power stations, i can see us returning to the good old seventies with electric going off regularly, also look at it from another angle energy prices frozen means energy workers wages frozen and capped, energy workers laid off as network repair costs and wages not being met
You need to look around rent benefits is are capped already the upshot of this is private landlords losing money and rented home getting shodier, and also a large rise in homelessnes, so all labour will do is make it worse
23. Labour will freeze rail fares in the first year of a Labour Government while we reform the railways. - Ah, so the old British Rail was a rip roaring success wasn't it ? YES IT WAS, CERTAINLY BETTER THAN THE PRESENT SYSTEM WHERE RAIL PRICES HAVE RISEN AFFECTING LIVING STANDARDS.
the old British rail system was on its knees due to lack of investment, service was poor , coaches falling apart, the decline in the railways is simply down to lack of industrial use ,same as the railways destroyed the canal trade, so fuel goes up, repairs need doing ,fairs stay the same. explain how it will get better not worse
24. Labour are determined to tackle climate change and create a million green jobs. - This really is just nonsense talk. One million green jobs.......please, try to stay serious. THROUGH THE GREEN INVESTMENT BANK AND RENEWABLE ENERGY. so whats labour going to do put a hermetically sealed bubble around the earth and try and control nature, the earth is constantly going through weather cycle changes it always has and always will
Added bits in bold , care to reply rich ??

Nobby, inne, bideford. Thanks for your responses.
Not sure who you all will be voting for but all your questions and responses to my answers gives anyone reading this the opportunity to make their own judgement.
As always there is no policy or proposals from the right wing. It would be helpful if you could give our readers/fans some actual policies that we could debate. Far too many still don't know what they are getting with the tories apart from the cuts in the next two years will be more severe than the last five years. Must be why tories are still on 33% and struggling in the seats that matter. Happy Days!
The only party that talks for and about working people is LABOUR. The positive noises and policies come from Labour!
Could you give us all a list of policies that the conservatives will promise? Doubt it as it will expose how they focus on the few not the many. The well off should pay a little more to help everyone prosper. It's a choice.
Have you seen the Russell brand video. Gone done very well with young voters. All cameron has done today is put fear into the potential voters instead of offering hope and a positive message. Cameron is cutting welfare in next two years and so any who need government help will see the money cut. Will cameron ever tell us what he is going to do? He still hasn't said how he will find the 8billion for NHS he has promised. Benefits will be cut for the people who need them most, like my sister who has MS .
Reading all your responses will only help other Gasheads decide to vote LABOUR. It's the only option for the majority. If you believe in fairness vote LaBOUR!
I doubt any of us on this thread will change our minds. However My points are more compelling and hopeful for the ones who have not decided. We need to hear about the Tory policies or even worse the UKIP policies.
Still time to share!
Should be an exciting few days.

Commonsense replies by Inee to the total nonsense spouted by Milliband and reiterated to us by Richertford. Good on you Inee! Thanks. I think that's an opinion! I guess we don't agree. Millions are voting for LABOUR on Thursday. The facts remain that the tories know that the world wide crash was created by the world wide banks and not the spending on UK hospitals and schools. In fact the tories agreed with the spending!!! The eurozone crisis not created by labour. What we do know is the Tories have failed to cut the deficit as they planned. What we do know is that the UK debt has increased from 900 billion to 1.5 trillion while tories have in power. Why would anyone vote tory? Please tell me. It's not for their economic competence! Please please let us know why people vote tory.

It's really very simple.
You cannot expect anyone to correct the mess left by the last Labour government in just five years. You moan about the Tories not cutting the deficit as planned, but that deficit was created by Labour. Labour trashed the economy, and to suggest otherwise is just wrong. Your economic ignorance is something to hold in wonder. Labour didn't spend any money on schools or hospitals, despite the huge amounts they did spend. Those projects, along with many others including Defence stuff, was 'paid' by using PFI deals, which have been proven to be a disaster.
You want Tory policies? Well, they are there for you to see. Employment is at it's highest for God knows how long. The deficit is coming down, and so will the debt. Government spending is coming down, which it will do no matter who gets in power, yes, even Labour will be cutting the Welfare Bill, because they have to ! Labour will destroy what Pensions are left, raise every tax possible, plus invent a lot more taxes. Government spending will go up, so will unemployment.....and once again, the economy will crash. The only jobs that Labour can create will be in the Public Sector, which only increases Government spending.
and anyone who listens to russell brand need their heads examined!
So, do you think Red Ed will dance to the tune of the SNP.........The Leader of the SNP is not even up for election! Will we see a government that answers to a non-elected person? How has the country ever got into such a mess as being held to ransom by somebody who isn't even an elected MP?

hold up rich on several occasions in these threads i have posted replies to your posting of labour policies i pointed out now on several occasions that a lot of what labour are selling you is in fact a cleverly worded ploy ,which in reality translate too .We will continue to use the majority of tory policies as they seem to be working . One thing i fotgot to add a comment too yesterday was the labour promise to lower the voting age to 16, WTF most 18 year olds are too young mentally to vote, but 16 year olds really, think back we were all 16 once, the boys will vote for the party with the biggest breasts, (sorry to put it in those terms but think about it. most kids at that age seem to be swayed by their teachers politically. but will most probably vote green or something. Rich you also mention your sister, im in the same boat ie ill and on benefits, We and a lot of others survive on what we get ,but people also need to realise that benefit isnt a god given right, in the main your sisters need are taken care of i suspect, she will get dla or pip again this isnt free money but a benefit given to help buy equipment or pay for extra care etc, that benefit is also not taken into consideration for any other benefit entitlement ,whereas other benefits are. not trying to be rude but thank your ,lucky stars we live where we do , where i find your post confusing is where on the one hand you post the labour policies, but when challenged on these you just post more, I would rather have a goat like Red Ken as pm than the spoilt little richboy milliband ad least with ken you knew where he stood. One other thing that really amazes me is the me me me ,mentality of labour supporters, if some one challenges any thing you say politically .you among others start calling them/us right wing. how right wing are labour in reality, they eroded more personal freedoms than any other party in the history of the uk, they only say they will promise work to youngsters who have exam passes, offer child care to one particular age group, i rather suspect this was to grab the young vote, at the cheapest possible price. My dad like many others was a labour man through and through ,but i also remember days without food due to yet another strike, so my view of labour is from the way i grew up. Ah Russell look at me Brant, sorry but why would any sane party use someone who along with that pillock johnathon ross rang manwell bragging how they did his grand daughter as a so called joke. for me it shows how desperate labour are to get in.

Also be aware that the recession wasn't caused by the Tories either, ok so labour will give the banks a good beasting .Remember free banking is a recent phenomn phlen phenone thing in the uk,cant wait to start paying to have a bank account again(wow have we really landed in 2015 or 1970), How would labour cut that deficit as an awful lot of money ends up abroad as overseas aid or eu payments to other eu countries, so if labour do as well as you expect ,more money will be sent to Europe. The only way to try to balance the books would be to shut the borders, tell Europe to get stuffed and stop all overseas aid. Then there will be a chance to help people over here once ,things are sorted here the open the borders a tad

The EU?
Milliband has stated that the British public will have no say whatsoever on our membership of the EU as he thinks he knows best.Of course richhertford will tell us how democratic Labour are and how they care about the working man and his future.
Labour will be as undemocratic as their beloved EU.

Good debate Gasheads. Let's just see how the election turns out! Rich the way i see it is some of us are debating but you seem unwilling to hold your corner, several people have replied directly to you and raised some good point in showing in our opinions that a lot of what milliband has said is already being done, the one that gets up my nose is their policy that the nhs is falling apart and people arnt getting the help they need, as i have used the services as a use and the father of someone with severe disabilities( to be clear Ann-Marie Irene suffered with the following, muscular dystrophy, her shoulders were semi fused resulting in restricted movement, she had a pigeon chest so had permanent pressure on her internal organs, her spine worked better backwards than forwards, she could bend backwards at 90 degrees but only 40 or so degrees forward, she also had a mental illness which meant she would regress to a child like state, and finally epilepsy, the various service which she used used to speak to each other, ie social services would talk to her occupation therapist ,bristol city council etc. the upshot of this was everybody involved in her care were aware of her health, she had an epilepsy nurse who would visit her at home several times a month, and would ask not only about her epilepsy but her health in general and also ask wendy and myself how we were getting on (the last bit alone means a lot to carers)`, here is an example of a situation of the various agencies pulling together. Ann-Marie wanted to change her name, so we got her social worker out to prove she was capable of making those decisions(we knew she was but needed it on record as her biological sperm donor would kick up she chose to add Irene as it was important ) , the social worker also asked how we were getting on i mentioned that wendy and myself now had to bath Ann-Marie as she was having fits in the bath and could no longer wash her arm pits or back. they made a note a few days later we got a phone call from physio, and had an appointment within a few weeks they gave her excersies to keep her mobile a bit longer, her epilepsy nurse came to visit and asked yo see the bathroom and made a report, again a few weeks later we got a phone call to ask if someone from the council could visit, she arrived inspected the bathroom and said its not good enough we need to do some mods, then she asked why the sink was loose, Ann-Marie in her own classical way said i was having a poo and had a fit and fell of the bog into it(not as polite as that ) , within a month we had a call asking if they could come back and install some equipment, a foldable safety rail was fitted so Ann-Marie Irene could not hit the sink if she had a fit, hand rails were positioned so she could got on and off the toilet easier, a removable bog seat was added to allow Ann-Marie to sit more comfortably on the throne, a big shock for us was they also bought a reclining bath chair which allowed not only us to get Ann-Marie Irene into and out of the bath easier but more importantly allowed her to have that little glimpse of freedom and independence by allowing her to do it herself, she was also in constant pain so she was sent to pain management. AS you can also imagine Ann-Marie Irene was also getting disability living allowance , which allowed her to buy any food she wanted for he packed lunches, it also paid for her day care and one night a month respite, and allowed her a few pennies over a month to treat herself. Her care was a 24/7 thing but Wendy and myself were grateful for the help. We dont want sympathy, The point im trying to make is two big labour policies are about getting the nhs and other agencies to work together, and improve mental health care. If the above example isn't enough to show that those policies are already working, i dont know what labour expect they can do but it's a blatant attempt to use clever wording to mean we will leave it as it is but you will believe we created this level of care. I am also a user of the services but thats another story thats been wrote about before so will leave it for now. On the points raised above you mentioned your sister is also ill(something i would not wish on others) so how does her care vary from the above example and how do you think labour can improve upon it ,as to be frankly honest if other people with illness or disabilities arn't getting that level of care then they need to get someone in to sort it out.
