Yup bags, I find using whole spices and grinding them or fresh spices, soak dried chilli, keeps me solid if I get ready made curry from supermarkets, I get the trots, never understand why recopies always say remove and discard the chilli seeds they're the best bits.

I had the screamers pretty much every other day in Mallorca. Thankfully first thing in the morning, about an hour after a few coffees and a couple of Fortuna.

I've had plenty of foreign screamers as well.....also had some that kept pretty quiet too.

Yep. And Marlboro soft pack. Love a soft pack. nailed the old tap the bottom trick? Timeless classic There's a knack. Flick, tap, turn the pack upside down and knock, no problem. And it's cool.

I'm fat and becoming unhappy about it. I've lost nearly a stone recently but have plateaud. I currently weigh 15st 6lb. I'm going to have a crack at eating less agaun but frankly I'm sh**e at dieting and literally have no free time to myself for exercise. Anyone else feel like shedding a stone or 2 with me and logging it here for a bit of support? I could be. When I watched back my honeymoon video when we returned home (2001) I realised quite how big I was. Even though I am quite tall, 18 stone was too much. With those images burning a hole in my mind I managed to shift 4 stone over two years. Since my son was born though I have put a stone of that back on and am currently 15st 3lbs. My personal target is around 14 and a half or just under so would love to shift 10lbs or so. How about a short term goal of until the end of August to see how we get on?

They say 2lb a week is realistic so I guess half a stone in the next 5 weeks is do-able.

Let's be honest who wants to flaff around on a poxy diet for the rest of their lives, worrying about what you can and cannot eat. I was never interested in all that crap, my mate shed a load of weight and all he did was drop bread from his diet,so i had a go and the results were instant. I lost just over a stone in the first month. I am now heading for two stone and i still have chips occasionally and chocolate and beer. Why don't you try it,for just one month and see how you get on.All bread does is bloats you out and makes you retain water, all in all it is a pretty useless food.

But bread and its very close cousin rice has sustained the human population for at least 10,000 years now. Maybe try whole or multi grain bread instead of white. Although try telling that to the French, who make the most delicious white bread and would spit out anything brown. In fact talking about them, they tend to smoke, drink and eat more than most, but do not have a huge obesity problem and live longer than we do.
Why les froggies? They don't eat fat-filled, salt-filled, hormone-filled takeaways three times a week. They cook good balanced meals with some red meat, some bread, and lots of veggies. Same as the Italians. But we, like the Americans, can't resist KFC, Dominos Pizza and over here a good old large Doner Kebab with mayo. And chips.
I might get a doner now actually.

I'd be up for it. Believe it or not my picture on here isn't a selfie (shock horror) I am 6''5 and was 289lbs on new years day and am now down to 269 which isn't great progress but progress nonetheless. January was a piece of urine for me until I got a new job and I couldn't walk to work anymore. From there my only real form of exercise was rugby so I can't wait for the season to start back so I can get back to fighting weight and play football again lol.
