Have any neighbours put up a "lost spider" poster on the lamp post outside your flat? I've got a feeling by these images that ras doesn't live in a flat, but he lives in a hut in the amazon rain forest.... maybe there's a sign on a tree.... |

Don't kill it. Take it to someone who knows. Living in Australia I came into the thread to take the water. But i have to admit that is one hell of a spider. I did see a couple of poisonous ones in our garden the other day which I probably should have killed, but I left them. The bigger ones we have here are completely harmless luckily. The first time I saw one of the big Huntsmen in my place I nearly sh** myself. There are supposedly Funnel Web's around our place but I've never seen one. www.spiders.com.au/ |

Crisis update.
Me and Incy have reached an agreement. He has apologised for invading my personal space and scaring the living hell out of me and I have apologised for keeping him in a bucket with a plate on overnight.
He accepts his immigration status is questionable and so has agreed to be placed on a raft of sorts and pushed out in to the sea in an effort to travel back to spider island where he is from.
He liked England he said but was disappointed his short trip ended the way it did with so much drama and his untimely incarceration.
My mate took him this morning. He keeps stuff like this in a big warm box and couldn't help but wonder whether this was one of his 'japes'.
I was so angry that it could have killed one of my bunnies that I don't think he could have admitted to it if it had been. I made it abundantly clear that if this was in fact the case then I wouldn't hesitate to pinch him in the throat.

Which of course is not quite as painful as a punch in the throat but still hurts enough to both vent my frustration and also to dissuade him from doing it again.
