Guys,
bit of an issue no joke there's a spider in my flat the size of a Dam onion. I'm not normally one to panic about spiders but this thing must be someone's pet or something that escaped. Its a proper big one with hair and orange bits on its legs. Not like a standard spider but like a proper tropical one or some sh**. Can I kill it or what fo you think its poisonous RSPCA? I googled it but cant find it freaking out a bit here guys.

Get the ice cream tub or some other suitably sized container and put it carefully over the spider. Taken a piece or cardboard or other paper and then slide it underneath so that the spider is inside. If you have a lid, put the lid on it. Do you have neighbours that keep tarantulas ? If not then just put it outside but please don't kill it mate. They are frightened of us and do a great job of killing mites and greenfly, black fly etc. I hope this helps. You have nothing to fear of any of our indigenous species Ras.

I would not take it to a reptile centre as it would probably end up as lunch for a Lizard. I like spiders.

Calm down ya big Jessie It sounds like it's a red kneed tarantula you will be ok. IF you have a big mug or glass place over the top so it can't run off call the zoo they will look after it it won't be used as lizard lunch.

When you've captured the Red-Kneed Tarantula, feed it with a bit of Knock-Kneed Chicken!!! People have phoned 999 for less!!!
