To put it simply, if the market goes up or down, it means that people are Trading. My company earns money from Trading, so the busier it is, the more profit they make, which equals a better bonus for me at the end of the year! Yippee ! Bloody traders. Buy, charge, sell, charge. But, you get a bonus either way so happy days. How's that man cave of yours coming along, weren't you setting something up? I'm planning a new gurt big aquarium, but that is for the Living Room. The Man Cave is pretty settled now.

No big screen tv unfortunately. I prefer to watch stuff in the main viewing area downstairs. Got it all set-up with a SONOS sound system. If it were in the Man Cave I'd be limited to how loud I can have it at night.

It rubs the lotion on it's skin else it gets the hose again.

I'm not allowed since the Heart attack, but I'm hoping to get the all-clear from the Doc soon to resume. Only Lakes near me I'm afraid and they are bloody cold and boring. I likes me water warm I do's.

"Sky’s Faisal Islam on the mood in Parliament at the moment:
“It’s a totally febrile atmosphere here. It’s kind of like Game of Thrones meets House of Cards – and if you chuck in the Labour Party – Laurel and Hardy too.”

I'll say it again. The Channel Agreement is between the UK and France. It has nothing, repeat, nothing to do with the EU. As for the new road I will repeat myself once again. A 50% grant from the EU is in fact British Taxpayers money, so, the British Government do already pay the 100% for that road. Are you deliberately twisting my comments. It may well be our money but if the uk government had to fully fund a road in wales rather than one in SE then it wouldn't happen. It is only because the local council applied to the EU for a grant that made the whole thing possible. As for the tacit agreement with France ,it was made under persuasion from the EU to keep both parties happy, now we are no longer in the eu there is no longer a need for pressure to be brought on the French to honour th agreement, which was never a signed contract anyway.

We are still in the EU but thankfully we do not have to pay towards Greeces upcoming bailout nor Italys which will bring an end to the Euro and probably the EU.

The end of the EU will be decided by what happens first - the next exit referendum (probably The Netherlands, possibly France) or Germany deciding to stop propping up the Euro.....at least one will happen within the next 2-3 years so I'm happy to be out rather than in...

No, I'm not twisting your comments, but I am pointing out that the EU don't actually fund anything in that the money comes from the UK! Only 50% of the money 'came' from the EU. The other 50% was supplied by UK central government, so how can you say that 'it wouldn't happen'? Do some research. The EU will never 'supply' more than 50% of any project costs, although judging from the 'paid for by the EU' signs, you are led to believe that they do provide the whole cost. As for the agreement with the French..... "On Thursday, May and Hollande said they were completely committed to maintaining the Calais border. May said: “We have discussed the Le Touquet agreement, and President Hollande and indeed interior minister [Bernard] Cazeneuve have both been very clear from their point of view that they wish the Le Touquet agreement to stay." The Guardian

Like Napoleon once said...I have no intention of making war on the English, and we all know what happened. Hang on you say the EU do not fund anything then you say only 50% of the funding came from the EU. Where did I say they funded 100% of the project,i pointed out that if the UK government had to fund 100% of the project then it wouldn't have happened, like the new junction on the M4 to ease congestion at Hambrook it wont happen because it doesn't benefit the SE

Good news if true but I thought our exemption from future bailouts was based on Cameron's renegotiation which is now null and void after Brexit. If not, we are just as liable as before for at least the next 2 years.

That would place it during our withdrawal negotiations, could be helpful but really who knows.
