Gutted , this should of been my first away trip of the season but like usual Mrs. Had other plans for me ! Anyway I think this will be 1-1 today, would love 3 points but would happily take a point seeming that we are usually slow starters. Come on gas !!!!!!

With the results Sunthorpe had toward the end of last season, I was thinking we may be on for a tough aftetnoon with a narrow defeat most likely, 2-1 say. My God it's good to be back....
Just think two years ago we we're starting the season as a demoted side from the Football League, and today we start a new season in League One.
Can't wait till K.O, Im buzzing for this season but I will not expect the ride to be so fantastic this time' however you just never know?

After the emotion of the last day of last season, and the fairly meaningless meanderings of the last couple of months on this forum, it is an almost surreal feeling waiting for the new season to start.

Just a quick reminder that Scunthorpe are a good side, really unlucky not to be in the play-offs last year. Good baptism of fire for us, just as Northampton was last year. Having said all that a good start would be brilliant  C'mon you yellows |
