Every sensible bit of me says happy with a draw, but there's this little niggle that thinks we might actually win big today by three or four. I know, stupid....

I can see us nicking a win but nothing in preseason has really suggested we'll win big. My concern is we'll find Scunthorpe a better team than we anticipated, a bit like Northampton were last season.

My God it's good to be back.... Just think two years ago we we're starting the season as a demoted side from the Football League, and today we start a new season in League One. Can't wait till K.O, Im buzzing for this season but I will not expect the ride to be so fantastic this time' however you just never know? Up the Gas For some of us who have watched the team for fifty years and more being in league one is no great shakes because for years we watched the team in division 3 which is now league one and division two which is now the Championship so when we get into the Championship we will be back where we belong - next season?

Why not be optimistic? At least until the final whistle. Remember Luton away last season. I went - couldn't believe it but hey made them look ordinary & nicked it.

1-1 for me. Cagey start with a fairly drab first half. Game to come alive 2nd half.

We're on radio Bristol right? I'm working and I'll be on a right downer if I turn the radio on at 2.55 and hear the words 'live at Ashton library'.

Really don't think this will work but happy to be proved wrong! I don't think Sinclair is good enough to make the starting lineup and Bodin really must be on the pitch. Still a fairly strong lineup though and as always darell knows best

Ollie Clarke? Bodin on the bench? Wouldnt have been my first X1 I'm guessing Lawrence and mansell have got minor knocks as I'm sure one of those would be on the bench at least. However ,other than that it's basically what I would expect away at Scunthorpe. Leadbitter to come off, clarke to move to fullback in a back four.bodin to come on right wing. O Clarke or Sinclair to come off and Montana to come on left wing. Gaffney or Taylor to be replaced by Harrison. Is a likely second half change of shape if required.

Playing it safe with that team. A lot of what we did early last season before going more attacking when chasing down the top three.
Not everyone will agree but we all trust DC and if it goes wrong he will change it.

Still a fairly strong lineup though and as always darell knows best Not sure I'd put OC above Sincs though using that logic? Surprised at the lack of width in the starting 11 and also a bit of a turn up the new signing, BM, doesn't even make the bench, although there's plenty of attacking options on the bench.
