Does the Board agree that both corporately and individually they should be held accountable for the club's demise? Why did the Board reject the "Agenda for Change" in 2006? What have been the repercussions and ramifications of this decision? Why does the Board seem so afraid to embrace change and restructuring?

This short letter in today's Post provides a fitting postscript to the above questions: Reader's letter: Bristol Rovers board have let us all downBy The Bristol Post | Posted: May 28, 2014 AS a lifelong Gashead, home and away for donkey's years, I must admit I feel let down, hurt and cheated by the Rovers board. Over the years millions of pounds worth of talent has been sold, but peanuts spent on buying very poor players. The board must have seen what we were saw – the worst Rovers side ever. Yet no one seemed to care. Needless to say a lot of good Rovers fans have stopped watching them. I hope the board can sleep at night, because I can't. I just hope we can get some pride and passion back and let's get the old Rovers back. All we want is our famous club having a go, and the board to represent the supporters because we love our club. Q. Given the way it is run, if BRFC 1883 Ltd was a 'normal' business selling a 'normal' product it would have gone bust many years ago, as would many other football clubs. What are the board doing to make sure this doesn't happen to us, and what part have they played in recent years to make sure all football clubs in the top three/four/five tiers are run in a sustainable way?

Why after the greatest disaster to befall our club have the board decided to put up the barricades and not talk to anyone?
The fans are desperate for some good news, but what do we get:
New Stadium.......... Nothing
New Players............Nothing
In depth review........Nothing
If it wasn't so serious it would be laughable.
Wake up and smell the coffee guys

I am bitterly disappointed with the lack of information coming from the club. I appreciate that the in depth investigation will take time if done thoroughly but to hear absolutely nothing from the Chairman and BoD by now is not on. Just an update. Please?
We aren't going to forget and it's not going to go away...
As for questions to ask to the board, I can only echo what others have said and that is to do with our scouting. Our scouting network seems to be non existent and with many people recommending players and offering to help the club, why on earth are they not taking people up on the offer.

Reading some of the threads on the other Forums it is clear that the Board whilst making huge mistakes (that has lead to Conference football) have at the same time made some considerable achievements which perhaps not everybody appreciates. The one constant is that the club's PR machine is an absolute disaster and the club desperately needs an an articulate voice/mouthpiece be it a Technical Director, Director of Football or Chief Executive. At the moment Nick Higgs and the Board appear to have "gone to ground" which is inexcusable.

Simple question for Nick Higgs IS THE BOARD/CLUB BROKE.

To my mind we are where we are and I have never really known any organisation carry out a review in public allocating blame to an individual for a past poor performance. It would be washing our dirty linen in public and result in accusations flying back and forth that would divide the club completely just at a time when we need unity to fight our way out of this mess.
There should be only 1 question as far as I can see and that is
" What lessons have been learned from last seasons disastrous campaign and what steps have been put in place to ensure it is not repeated?"

Far point Phil, but I see it as 4 diastrous seasons because the previous two were in tatters before we even got to Christmas and the one before that there was turmoil with managerial changes left, right and centre and as a result we got relegated from L1 ! So in my eyes it doesn't look like lessons have been learned. What's your view on that ?
I hope you will come on June 10th to The Wellie, it would be good to meet you.

Which (if any) contained potentially libellous comments? Answer 'no comment' if i) true or ii) potentially libellous, or 'no' if they were made up. Players drinking, players behaving badly on nights out, players doing drugs, players dealing drugs, players involved in other illegal activities on nights out...?
Which 'fair minded' supporters questioned 'in which direction' the forum was heading?
Clarify 'impossible for the club to moderate the forum to the standards required'...do you actually mean 'impossible for the club to run the forum without (probably true) rumours and/or criticisms being published on the official club forum'?
Have you succeeded in keeping the fans informed through 'official channels'? Most news stories are still published first on the 'other' forums...?
When is the first live forum when I (as a pay-on-the-day but 24-year-long fan of the club) can ask the board a direct question? And will I be guaranteed an answer?
The forum had 1000 members online as we were relegated and overall close to 10000 members. It's bad enough to be wrong, but can you at least correct it now please?

-Why is the Financial Director still in post?
-How was a club that was apparently unable to moderate a fans forum able to delete any references to other forums almost immediatly?
-In order for the UWE stadium to be ready for the 2015/16 season, what is the absolute latest date that the buiding work can start?
-What has happened at the club which would not have happened without the presence of the two Fans Directors?
-Why has the club not used an outside agency to conduct it's review of the reasons for it's current situation?

Regarding the Section 106 agreement with Sainsburys, could they potentially pull out at any stage or is it a case of when and not if with the stadium?

I'd seriously like someone to ask them 'Where do babies come from' so we can see i) whether they can think on their feet and ii) whether they can give a factual answer...

I would like to ask if there have been any discussions about new investment and new board members.
I would also ask if there are any blockers to potential new investors.

I just wanted to say good luck to those of you attending this meeting tonight. It would be great if someone could start a thread and update when possible. I was going to go but my experiences of this have not been brilliant so I thought it best I don't go as I would not be seen Una positive way. I hope you guys manage to make the board members, who turn up, squirm. I hope that they do not start with the " we feel unable to field that question at this juncture" I really hope that this is a meeting where we kick on with an open dialogue with the life blood of our club. Tally ho boys and Girls. Power to the people. Jools " Wolfie" Pirog
