Stuart Sinclair is not a player, he's an idea. He's the spirit of Bristol Rovers.

For me Sincs epitomizes everything we have been about since the dark days in non league. L1 has found him out offensively but not defensively so far. There is a place for him in our team and I think some of the criticism is unjustified. This type of player would be first on a lot of managers team sheets remember Stuart Campbell? We do need a bit more quality on the ball agreed but away from home backs against the wall he comes into his own.

Personally, think Sinclair has a role to play in the squad but I wouldn't be starting him as often as DC seems to be.

Agree but we are gelling 8 new players into squad this season so Sinclair maybe the go to man while things are settling down.

To prove I haven't got an agenda against Sincs, we won today and he played well, they all did. He showed his versatility today playing on the right of the diamond. This allowed Lines more space who I thought was brilliant today. They also worked well together when we went 442.
I've always said we need Sincs in the squad, I like him but I just offered my opinion that we can pick a better team without him in it. I maybe wrong on this, I've never once booed him, he gets my total support when playing but a forum is a place to debate.
Well done Stuart Sinclair today.
Grant for them, number 42 was a very good player, we did our best to contain him but you could see he was a good footballer.

Well I am one of his biggest fans but I thought he had an off day today by his standards. He wasn't terrible just a bit wasteful with the ball and wasn't winning as many tackles / interceptions as he normally does.

Thought he was immense today. His fitness last 20 was unbelievable.

Agree with Socrates,i did wonder if being on four yellows was making him hold back a little in his challenges, but then he gets booked for a nothing tackle that he didn't even make contact with their player.

Personally I think Stuart is vastly underrated on here, he epitomises everything that is good about this club, desire and commitment to improve and develop, we are evolving as a team, I want us to consolidate this year and not do a Yeovile, one season wonder in the championship, unless Wael can finance the dream!
