I realise you're trying to defend a player you like but to attack another player (Lines) isn't the way to do it. They all need our support as they step up a level and find their feet. DC himself is still adapting to this division.

Give all the lads a chance, if the last two seasons are anything to go by we will get stronger. Things are so much more positive at our club recently, let's not be the ones that become the negative. UTG

The problem for Sincs is not he's not a natural CM so where do you fit him in the team, it seems you realise the problem has the only way you could include him was to drop a striker in your team for tonight? if he's such a good CM why do we need 3 CM's in the team?

Is it just a conincidence our best run of form over the last two seasons was when Lines & Mansel replaced Sincs in CM?

After Saturday's performance I wouldn't drop Sincs but I'm struggling to find a position for him in my starting 11, perhaps a free role on the RW?

I like Sincs,he is a superb clubman and will run and run and I am sure his blood is blue but it depends whether you want an attacking team or a defending one. If you want an attacking midfield then you don't want your most forward midfield player to be a player who makes very few forward passes especially where you have better options. I, like Topper Gas struggle to find a place for Sincs especially with the new signings who surely have been signed because they are better players than we have.
The big problem us fans have is that we don't know who is injured and who is fit so we rarely know if a player is left out of the squad because of injury or just not selected. DC by doing this leaves himself open to criticism if a formation he sets up is as badly exposed as Saturday and he does nothing about it.
I know all this kidology about opponents not knowing what players are playing but it seems to me that in this division the better teams are pretty well unchanged from week to week and know each others games inside out.
On the basis that the new players are in fact better than existing players then a team along these lines would seem reasonable (Boetang is supposedly your defensive holding midfielder.)

Even SK can't come up with a sensible line up! Plus there's tow player including who we've no idea are up to starting Div 1 games - Roberts & Colkett plus god knows how Lines as gone from hero to zero in one match!  

i believe he is a natural midfield player but we now have lines,boateng and colkett who appear to be creative attack minded midfield players but maybe not so strong defensively,the team i hope dc will pick has 5 in midfield but 4 of them are attack minded so its still an offensive selection.
lots want 4-4-2 but its risky imo to play boateng-lines or boateng-colkett as we are then without a ball winner and if we play 3 at the back we seem to end up with slow centre backs in vulnerable wide positions.
in fairness boateng and colkett may yet prove they are good defensively as ive only seen them once.

I think if we played a 4-2-3-1 formation could possibly work with the players we have at the moment

thing is people are saying sinclair  and mansell are not up to league 1 but im wondering just who is going to win the ball in midfield without them in the side?
maybe its boateng or colkett as ive only seen them once and it could be that 1 or the other is a ball winning holding midfielder?

I think Sincs gets a hard time of it from a lot of our fans.

I often look at the oppositions view of our games and his name gets singled out more than any other as our best player in their eyes.

Granted he has his limitations but he must be an absolute pain in the arse to play against. I think there should always be room in a side for one of those.
