"you've sent me to the wrong club because the other team have all the ball"
I doubt CC even said these words but if I was DC I'd pin that comments on the wall tomorrow and tell his players to go out and prove who are the better footballers.
It seems an odd approach to try and wind everybody up as I doubt that will work in Swindle's favour.

Thatchers End is sold out. Need to be loud for this one - we know who our friends and enemies are.

The manager and chairman at Swindon suit eachother for sure.
Edit: I know those comments are designed to wind up, but its odd to hear a manager brag about 'playing better football' when they could be in the relegation zone at 5pm tomorrow.

"I have spoken to Charlie and Charlie was on the bench for Bristol Rovers when they played against us, he went back to Chelsea and said 'you've sent me to the wrong club because the other team have all the ball'. I did hear that young Charlie refused to board the coach and ran back to Stamford Bridge that very night.Seems ligit as he had come on with 30 minutes to go and helped turn the game on its head. 100% Charlie will get a good reception - until he scores. Exactly. I think he has been stating 'alternative facts' about what Charlie said after the Swindon game. Didnt we beat them?

Players looked right up for it this morning when I was watching them training at the ground, especially the gaffer! Bodin was on fire toođ

Charlie thought Swindon were exceptional and too good for League 1 when we beat them.

Swindon seem to be bigging this up massively by using local media and Charlie as the vehicle....

I doubt you could safely attribute all or any of those comments to CC, but it does demonstrate that Bristol Rovers or Swindon Town for that matter are little more than a vehicle to progress their careers, maybe something to bear in mind for next time we are offered youngsters on loan.

Why the f*ck would anyone boo him? I will be politely clapping him for his 3 goals and THAT backheel.

I'm not sure anyone felt CC was coming here with a view to a permanent move... Loans cut both ways and it's up to managers to find the balance between developing another club's player and improving the squad short term.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38775362League One side Swindon Town have signed Chelsea defender Dion Conroy until June 2019 for an undisclosed fee. Conroy came through the academy system at Chelsea, but failed to make a senior appearance for the Premier League club. The 21-year-old recently returned to Stamford Bridge from a loan spell at National League side Aldershot, where he played in 15 league games. He could make his debut for the Robins when they play Bristol Rovers in League One on Saturday. Find all the latest football transfers on our dedicated page or visit our Premier League tracker here.
