The sooner they introduce online voting the better. Trotting along to the polling station with your little voting card in your hands is like the old days of going to Boots to get your holiday photos developed. Online voting....yep, there is no way that could ever be hacked is there. What could possibly go wrong ! Postal voting is available, but it is obvious that that method is being abused, and in fact, postal voting should be banned. I use postal voting as i cant always guarantee i will be in the right frame of mind to go out on a given day, but i do agree they should be more secure , easy to target and fiddle once delivered and filled in

I also have held the view that if you can't even speak english or are not british or born in one of it's dependencies , then you should not be allowed to vote.

I see Boris had had his wings clipped, both as part of the election and over Syria. Wouldn't surprise me to see him moved in a post election reshuffle and replaced by someone like Michael Fallon.
Corbyn seems to go from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Sturgeon is a stuck record of "Nasty Tories", 20 mentions in a 20 minute speech the other day. She must be worried as some predict 12 Conservative seats in Scotland. A bit high for me (expect around 6) but goes to show how quickly things can change in two years. Too much Indyref2 for many I suspect.

If he fails then it prevents a challenge to TM's leadership in a few years.

Listen to this interview with Dianne Abbott. Remember, she is the Shadow Home Secretary. She will be installed as the Home Secretary if Labour win. This is pure comedy gold.......but on the other hand, it is really worrying that somebody this incompetent should be considered for one of the great offices of State. Dianne Abbott Police car crash interview

Dianne Abbott Police car crash interviewShe is on the Daily Politics as I type. Apparently she 'Misspoke' and said the correct figures in 6 other interviews, only she didn't mention them at all. She also stated that Labour would reverse the Corporation Tax cut back to what it is but couldn't say what that rate is! Labour had them in a press release, so she could have known them. I have to say she is one of those people I actually enjoy coming a cropper.Jo Coburn is really on one today, very short with both her interviewees.

Dianne Abbott Police car crash interviewIt's not comedy it's a Dam disgrace. This is literally the state of everything in this country now. No one actually bothers to study anything, learn anything or prepare for anything because they think the only thing that matters is the 140 characters on Twitter. She's had six months to prep this policy. She's had two weeks to perfect her pitch as part of the Labour campaign this is frightening that she is so sh**. If we can't expect the shadow Home Secretary to be prepared or give a sh** about their job what Dam hope of our teenagers got? f**k all because all anyone cares about in schools now is what gender can go in what Dam toilets.

So, the labour Manifesto then..........oh dear. we all know you can promise anything when you know you aren't going to win
Free stuff for all, and we will pay off the national debt, whilst convincing companies thinking of leaving because of BREXIT to do so with Corporation Tax hike.
I hear the manifesto is extremely popular, so the Labour landslide victory will be interesting

I think Corbyn and Co have more Money Trees than they're letting on ! That is the only logical explanation for this car crash of a Manifesto.

All paid for by raising Corporation Tax.
What the Left don't realise (or don't want to realise) is that companies don't pay tax, people do. If CT is increased then profits are lower meaning that investment, pension funds, future expansion, jobs and wages are affected.
Incidentally, Nobby, why the Diane Abbot reference the other day?

You've hit the nail on the head. Companies do not pay Corporation Tax. Higher Corporation tax means less for the shareholders. Less investment in tools/training etc. This can only lead to lower productivity which means lower wages. If profits are low, then the employee will probably not get a pay rise, whereas if the profits are high enough, then they probably will. The DA reference was just because you mentioned something with a number in it..........It was just harking back to her performance on the radio regarding Police numbers and costs. No offence intended!
