What people keep overlooking in all this are the roles of Wael and Hani. If it was left to Wael, he would go full bloodied to get this whole enterprise completed. Unfortunately, it's Hani who is running THIS show. And he is not halfway as committed as Wael. He is totally pragmatic, and does not let his heart rule his head. Hence, the drawn out nature of all this. Totally agree. Hani is the Banker - Wael isn't. - he's a relatively small shareholder. I guess none of us know whether they are using AJIB as the source for the financing but if they are it would stack up that Hani and maybe his father are being cautious - they owe it to their shareholders to be just that.

So much guessing and double guessing going on! No one on here knows, only those who need to do - we will find out in due course when the time is right. UTG How do you know that nobody knows? You're just guessing about who's guessing. I don't think it wise to guess about who knows who's guessing and who guesses who knows.

Hani Is 100% behind this Project On his, and I assume his father's, terms though not the UWE's, and it seems that could still be the stumbling block, but why did they sanction buying The Colony??

If all this delay is because we are making sure we are not getting done over, then I'm very happy to wait it out a bit longer.

The longer this goes on the less likely the UWE will go ahead (IMHO) we definately need an update from the club they can't keep fobbing us off with the same old excuses!

Normally when you make an offer, the recipient gets to decide whether to accept it?

Perhaps they've already decided it doesn't meet their own valuation, if it did then wouldn't both parties have announced a deal has been agreed by now?
