Guess that’s the best position to get the most eyes on it . Not sure most home fans can see it, as anybody in the West Stand or SW Stand won't, and the Thatchers may struggle from the west end of that terracing, no idea if the fans sat in the west end of the south stand can see it. Maybe this is the first part of the East Stand development. The East Stand will have a very good view of the screen.

It's reasonable to charge for a physical card because it costs a lot more to provide them. Manufacturing, admin, handling, packing, postage. What isn't reasonable is to introduce the charge after people have paid. It's clearly a decision taken recently or it would have been announced at the time renewals were offered. This could all have been avoided if someone had planned in advance and told people about the £15 some months ago. It's all a bit shabby and amateur, but I suppose we're used to that. They must have known as they have implemented the system. I wonder who is to blame for this. Answers on a post card to TG for him to fire someone and start yet another (unproved) employees tribunal.

Maybe we can put a concave mirror on top of the East Stand pointing towards the hospitality? As the sun beats down on the East stand it'll be like a sort of Death Star laser beam. 👍 A frickin 'laser'... www.bbc.com/news/magazine-23944679

The club have made it clear if you're not prepared to pay the £15 then they are prepared to refund you and so cancel your season ticket, nobody is ripping you off. I renewed my season ticket in good faith and was told that my card would be sent to me at a later date. The £15 plastic card charge was added after this transaction. If they are expecting me to pay this, that is tantamount to be ripped off. I am still expecting to receive this as per the original agreement. Once again I will repeat. I tell no lies. Well, good luck with your crusade. May I suggest treating yourself to a Smartphone. You will need it for the following season anyway.

Thanks for your email and we will pass your feedback on to the owners. Just for clarity at no point during the season ticket renewal stage for season 24/25 was it communicated that we would be issuing new physical cards or old cards would be renewed and the club are providing digital season cards for free at no additional cost, physical cards will be at a cost of £15 There will come a point where the club becomes fully digital, potentially next season and cards will no longer be issued but that will be a gradual process hence why for at least this season cards will be offered There are no plans for the board to change this policy. If you would like a refund I can arrange this for you Thanks Pete It’s a bit like flogging a dead horse at this stage, but the problem with that response is surely that whilst the paragraph starting. “Just for clarity…..” states that they did not communicate about issuing new physical/ renew old cards neither was there any indication that things were changing after renewal as they have done. It’s surely a relevant fact to communicate prior to purchase? Ah well…..onwards. This was discussed on the other thread. The only time cards were mention in the T's and C's was for the 22/23 season tickets.

Those moaning for the sake of it clearly have three choices: 1) Use your phone. 2) Buy a card for £15 3) Get a refund Seems there are three reasonable options now. Or 4. Receive the card as per conversation at time of renewal. There was absolutely no mention whatsoever of any charge, but I was told that my new card would be delivered at a later date. That was part of the arrangement, and I expect the Club to abide by it. I hate RIP off merchants. Always have done, always will. Problem is, you have no evidence that conversation took place. Email Pete. Sounds like he will give you a refund.

When I spent the afternoon trying buy a season ticket in April, a bit like the old Kryton Factor. I had three options regarding physical tickets. First attempt the website told me it was a £10 cost for the card. With a box to tick if I wanted it. I was unsure but then the purchase descended into chaos and I was timed out. The next attempt I had a box to tick if I wanted a card but it was greyed out. Anyway that attempt to buy two season tickets failed so I was timed out again. On the attempt the box had disappeared altogether but at least I did get the season tickets. Well I assumed I have, who knows!! Email Pete. Sounds like he will give you a refund.

From someone who stands on the west terrace near the tunnel it isn't good for me, but hey ho,but as long as my fellow gasheads can see that's fine by me. Maybe we can put a concave mirror on top of the East Stand pointing towards the hospitality?

I wonder if the screen is the reason why the South West Stand is so much lower than the South Stand. Could it go on top of the South West stand? Apparently it's lower to stop the residents behind the stand objecting to the plans, as the old SW stand was a similar height? Although if the TV was put there then nobody in the West Stand inc the exec boxes could see it? Not even sure if the North Terrace could see it? BOOM!

So JCH’s Peterborough career ended tonight… Just saying I see he was thrown on for the last 20 mins so obviously Ferguson thinks he can still do a job. I wonder where he'll go? 🤔 My money is on Wrexham. They will be able to support his wage demands more than us. I don't want him back at Rovers, it would be a step backwards.

No drama, did it all on my own for the Red Lion Reserves. Picked the Team, did the scouting, did the training, washed the kits, marked the pitch, nets & flags. ….and I played….. Never won F All though. You'll fit in very nicely

What if the bin was the only witness...? Ted Rodgers saw everything Ask him if he needs a coaching job, with his infamous four:3:2:1 formation.

I have done once or twice, but then that was a works van. Pretty sure the police will still investigate criminal damage and if the wheelie bin had a number on it the investigation should be pretty simple for them.... Would need solid evidence to pick out a individual bin in a line up to make it stick or the case would be thrown out of court What if the bin was the only witness...?

I think that is quite likely. To be honest, with all the drop curbs that have been put in over the last 5 years. It's pretty close to residents only parking. I get so annoyed with people putting bins and traffic cones in the street outside their houses. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to block the public highway. Move the obstructions somewhere safe so you can legally park there instead... Would you do that? Risk some nimby damaging your car?

That is the point for me. We end up letting players leave on a free as we aren't very good at cashing in on them. For all Snakey boys negative antics, he could have left on a free that summer. I think when you look that Taylor, Bodin, Harrison and Lockyer all left for less than what we got for just Barry in 1998 it's pretty damning. To be fair, Taylor/Bodin/Harrison didn't play at the level that Barry Hayles did. Lockyer, we so messed up there. No fee and some fans were saying he wasn't good enough for us.
