News from the pre-season training ground Jordi is an amazing keeper - no one has yet put one past him JCH has a groin strain and could be binning off the worst of preseason THD in serious jeopardy with his knee - sent home , they don’t know what to do with him . Could be retiring Tom Nichollls looking very sharp Big ticket signing fell through today ....... Is this all genuine news as it sounds like something an 82er would have made up about our pre-season training! Straight off the ground last night mate I’m not going to divulge my source , suffice to say he got his boots dirty with the rest |

As a watcher of youth girls football I’m not surprised at the high standard
Been watching a few games and personally I think it’s brilliant
Particularly noteworthy is the lack of rolling around injured (acting like a girl !?) and the genuine acceptance of a referees decisions
In a game where the men’s version is lauded above all these girls are showing class and leading the way imo in on pitch behaviours

I’ll go against the post above... 3.5m in debt. It’s being underwritten (to an extent by someone) and that would be the owners. Perhaps we should support them a little more considering the investment they are having to put in. It would be madness to assume it lasts forever, and there are genuine concerns. We so badly need a stadium. We’ve got a stadium and we’ve got permission for events for revenue but as usual we are 8 scats behind the sh** cos I can’t recall us booking rod Stewart or the spice girls |

I do agree with some that there appears to be a higher than usual level of interest in our past manager
Maybe it’s the deluge of information we all get nowadays from social media - everything is instant, ripe for comment and discussion
There was never a majority calling for DCs blood so I get the residual interest and admiration
But make no mistake - if Dc had remained we’d be playing Walsall next season
And maybe facing him and his team - how much love would remain then ?
We are the Gas and that’s it

Well said he left us in the sh!t after five months of bleating anyone with half an eye could see that the moaning and reliance on Nichols wasn’t going to get him, the club or us out of the mire he’d lost the plot because he wasn’t backed with a stadium and training ground like he was promised and wanted to be sacked cos he’d run out of ideas and enthusiasm with his constant tinkering Two good reasons Walsall are welcome Luke James and Tom Nichols So what you are saying is if we had a new training ground and a new stadium, Clarke would still be manager and we wouldn't have been fighting relegation. I don't agree given that a , he got 2 promotions on the same training ground and the same stadium, and 2 he complained about the pitch, got a new one (voted the best in Div 1) and they played crap on it. For me Clarkes undoing was a lack of contacts at Div one level. Peterboro couldn't wait to get rid of Nicolls, their fans were booing him when his name was announced, Bennett too another player not wanted at Portsmouth, truth is he got in some really poor players. Some have good skill sets but either lack the mental strength or body strength. I never ever said any such thing about the stadium etc . I said Clarke spent too much energy bleating on about stuff he had no control over and not concentrating on the things he could I see how my comment could be misconstrued |
