I don't doubt for a second that Azza will come good again it's just that at the moment he is not at it and has not been for some time so i think a break will do him good ,he has been an ever present for a long time now so a spell as an impact sub may do the trick and get him firing again , his present state of mind was summed up by 'that' chance yesterday which he would have smashed home a few months ago. I cannot see the logic in a “break” being what he needs… the season only just started! Did he not have a break over the summer?

Doesn't that sum up where McCormick plays? McCormack hasn't done a job as a wing back as far as I remember? He played there for us a few times last season, as did Evans

I’m going to remind you two of these posts in a month or two 😉 I hope so because that would mean the old Collins is back 😉 It’s not that I don’t rate Collins. Under normal circumstances I’d be frustrated if we took more than £5mn. However he ended last season poorly with this season no different, and this season he has tried to pull off moves that would have been better off passed to someone in a better off position. We are going to be some force this season when AC does find his form

Fans after a player loses their form: Drop him! Bring him down a peg or two! Shouldn’t be so greedy he thinks he’s better than he is! Not good enough!!

On Sam Clucas - obviously it would be an excellent signing for this level. But the guy can barely play half a season. We already have enough of these players that add a lot when they play, but we're totally off the ball when not in the squad. I'd rather have a solid player like Ward who can play the full season than a player of Clucas' quality who plays up to 20 games Not sure you realise how you kinda ruined your initial point on this one. We only landed Ward because he was exactly the same, returning from serious injury. We’ve got a gem because of that risk, and that’s what we’re trying to do elsewhere. You win some you lose some.

I’d have CT over him, 2m is hilarious Amuses me when fans can’t see his attributes. He’s a better player currently than Taylor . I can see his attributes, I think he’s a decent player. That doesn’t mean I think he’s worth 2m or more than Taylor - imo

Don't know if I can explain my thoughts correctly but will try. Indicative granting of pp, should be 8 weeks. BCC seem to have a massive backlog, and whether we are partly at fault or not, looks like it may take several/many months to gain pp for a relatively simple new stand. While that is a mild annoyance/pain in the ass, it doesn't bode well for pp for the FM. IIRC, the whole deal seemed to rest on Conyger gaining pp for the plot within the year, I seem to recall end of March 24? My point is, if it takes several months to gain pp for a simple stand, is it possible/likely to take much longer to gain pp for the FM, which after all is an infinitely more complex project, that combined with high inflation and interest rates for borrowing money, may give Conyger an easy out, from developing that land - including a stadium. Your concern there hinges on a pessimistic concern that Conyger are looking for an out. That seems unlikely, they probably want to do it just as much as we do?

JCH is a great striker but not sure he would fit with the current team or is needed. We have a lot of cover in Attack and it wasn't really a problem scoring last year, even if Collins goes I think Brown will shine. Its defense and defensive midfield we need to add real strength to. Some of the defending in games last year was woeful. It's good to see we have made some significant signings in these areas but if we were going to splash the cash then let's get in a quality CDM, someone to run the show. JCH is never happening, but that isn’t because he wouldn’t be a quality signing. If he was available to us, we would 100% take him. He’s the best striker in the league and alongside Thomas and Collins would be an absolute joke in L1! But it isn’t happening because he will get a move to a title contender or Champ

Go and buy two of Mo Eisa, Callum Hendry or Noah Chilvers - top League Two performers ready made for the step up. Combined fee for two would be £300,000 to £400,000 - so not technically beating transfer record but better investment. Why would MK let Mo Eisa leave for that kind of fee? They’ve got plenty of cash and they absolutely need him leading their line. I can’t see him leaving them for less than 400k.

When we were taken over by Wael, we thought it was initially nothing better than investment bankers coming into the club... Now apparently that's not enough. Wael appears to need extra investment. I think we should take time and be careful to evaluate if the investment will suit the fabric of the club I already don't recognise.. The problem is, the more professional the club gets, the less we will all recognise it. The only way we will retain the club we all initially fell for is to remain a farce.

Well he is our manager and its his team, I hope he will be making the decisions. Nothing about trust or ego Definitely agree to disagree. Hope there is good phone signal at fratton then I don’t really agree with the point either… the manager should always be driving those decisions - if he’s able to watch the game and be in communication he should be the one calling the shots. That said I’m not sure if he is even allowed to be in comms? I’m sure I read somewhere that this ban meant he wasnt

I think we still need a ball winner / holding midfielder and a quick winger / inside forward. Don’t get me wrong our squad is shaping up great but we still lack pace / width and someone who can control midfield like Whelan / Coutts/ Rossiter do when they played. Struggling to understand your point on needing a pacey winger/forward? Luke Thomas, Scott Sinclair, Aaron Collins?

The fans park everywhere they can get away with and some are verbally abusive to locals just trying to get to their own properties. Rovers are already a bad neighbour and have no consideration for local residents as it is. Significantly they have the arrogance to have started work on increasing the crowds without even notifying their neighbours or waiting for planning permission. This tells you all you need to know about their cavalier attitude. I live in Trubshaw Close, and we already cannot access or leave our properties at the beginning of games or for several hours afterwards just with the existing numbers. FOR THOSE WITH GOOD MEMORIES Trubshaw Close was built partly on the old Memorial Ground training pitch and partly on the old car park of the stadium. It's access road was one of those previously used to access the stadium. It is still the main access route into the ground. The first house in Trubshaw Close was sold in 2006. Did this disgruntled resident not notice the stands nearby? Did they not know that both Bristol Rugby and Bristol Rovers played matches on that patch of green grass between those nearby stands at that time? Did they believe that they could live in a cul-de-sac that has for it's access the entry point for a stadium and then be able to experience a peaceful and calm environment on match days? Do they regard themself as a good neighbour? Again a totally useless objection though, how many times do people need to be told that it does not increase capacity above what it previously was?

Perhaps it's a case that Wael doesn't want to spend any more money at the club until the takeover is complete/ratified by the EFL, as something also seems to be holding up Teo's signing? Perhaps Wael's days of spending money at Rovers are now effectively over? It’s certainly not that. As we know the capital for this project was taken out as a loan anyway.

Wasn’t 51% knocking about yesterday? If Wael owns anything like 49% there’s no way he’s getting the boot. The article says that this bloke has purchased 55% of Dwane. My point still stands, Wael still earns a significant portion of the equity and will continue to be involved.
