I think you are right. I cannot think of any player that DC has released who has gone on to do better? A lot on here said we should have kept Montano, but even he cannot get into a league two side right now. Have we even played against any of the players that DC released? Delle Verde when we played Crawley I believe. And Blissett the other month

I think I’d be more worried if he signed the contract, a golden goodbye. Is that anything like a golden shower?

This is out today, might be interesting to hear some neutral takes on what's going on.
If it's naff, don't blame me - their main shows are great.

While I agree that some midfield solidity would be a plus, we'd still end up with the problem of having narrow centre midfielders ahead of a dedicated DM. Then that asks a question about what to do with Bill when he's fit enough to start.
Play our (only) four midfielders last week allowed Wimbledon too much space and time to pick their way through, as you say, typified by their first two goals.
Looking forward to a good natured argument with you in the future. I liked that early dig about some of the people on here "watching a different game" to you, that'll go down well with some of the wankers.

Bored of all this negativity. Why are people so quick to assume the worst?!
Our situation isn't dire, our best player is imminently returning to fitness, form of our defenders will surely pick up, and even if it doesn't, it's not as if we're cast adrift at the bottom and there's no hope.
It's not even Christmas yet and some on here seem to have given up. Yes we're a bit sh** at the moment, we've seen worse and we likely will again.
Last thing we want to do is scare DC off with all the crap and rumours and exaggerating ITK knobhead posts having pops at him, Wael, Hamer, the owning family or even bloody Gorringe - who's only been here five minutes.

Especially as GT will have been faxed a list of things he will and will not be allowed to ask. I don't think there will be any spontaneity involved; the club have been far too secretive to suddenly allow open house in a radio interview. Please provide proof of this fax I know our club is a bit sh**, but surely even we're on board with these electronic, or "E" mails that I've heard about.

Still no leadership from the owners then, still nothing to communicate to the fans. Once again they send out their puppet to bluster and bluff us. You might not have anything good to say Wael but at least you would get some respect if you had the bollox to tell us as it is instead of hiding like a coward. Isn't Hamer literally the chairman? Not as if they're putting up a turnstile worker or security guard.

I couldn't get a Sweet Potato Pie as they were sold out again at 2:50. Not sure if this is major enough, but I was sad.

Just been sacked by west brom an ideal candidate for us if we get in quick Hahahaha Anchelotti hasn't found a new job either. And if you believe what you read, Conte isn't happy at Chelsea. Lets strike while the iron is hot! Stop dragging your heels Wael!

Yup solve the problem by getting in a new manager now so he can make his win decisions in January and not have DC waste time and money bringing in non quality players All. Can see from it's is that wait until Jan then everything will be ok but people are alking about selling bodin and then replacing him where will that get us Realistically this is the only option we have unless we want to get relegated I just wish there could see the writing on the wall Ah here it is. I was getting worried there wouldn't be a ridiculous DC out shout from Midlandgas during a thread about the players. Phew

What's the definition of "proper update"? Far too much doom-mongering on here these last few weeks.
I assume this is based on DC saying there should be pressure on those involved in off-the-field improvements, but surely we don't all want to blindly chase a non-starter like UWE all over again...?

So let's assume Nick Higgs will play Marty McFly. Who will play Doc Brown? Will Wael get a part? Surely DC as Marty. Holtby as Biff. Nick Day/Lance as the announcer at the Enchantment Under The Sea dance - in the Dri Build lounge. Any more, guys??

Congratulations tom, hopefully that should give him a boost. Sorry to be negative but last minute you want your back line to keep their shape, yet he got dragged out of position and the ball went into the gap he vacated... There were a lot of bodies around to have defended that better, can't just hold shape forever without engaging the man with the ball. Never nice when a goal comes from your side, but hardly a howler.

I was not there but cannot agree with your comments that DC did the right thing today as far as I am concerned and my opinion is lack of experience cost us a point today by not wasting time bringing on substitutes at the very end and breaking up play If you weren't there, I don't know if you watched it online, but it's hard to take your post(s) seriously. We all know DC can do nothing right in your eyes anyway, but we all thought we'd get a kicking by Scunthorpe - and we didn't!

Not a coincidence IMO that the people making rumours and starting negative threads are the same ones who are having problems with their masculinity and sexuality in 2017. You do not want to start me on this subject or all hell will let loose gladly the most of us still have proper Christian relationships enough said Hahahaha this is amazing, basically "I'm not homophobic, I just don't like 'em." This is up there with your anti-PC rant about the racist Lukaku song. On a scale of 1 to Tommy Robinson, how triggered are you about James McLean this time of year?

I can't believe the negativity here across so many threads. Two promotions and two solid League One seasons, yet people are still moaning for Clarke to improve "or else".
Bonkers.
I know a lot of people here have more years watching us than I do, but I still think they should be careful what they wish for...

If we went bust perhaps the Chinese could get us on the cheap and then invest more on players etc? does that mean the sausage wolls will be replaced with wing wolls Hahahaha isn't it funny when people speak with an accent in their second language?! Hahaha

So why post such a comment in the first place. Either support the poppy campaign or don't, your choice, everybody's choice. Freedom of choice, we after all live in a rich democracy. The club will respect tradition as will the bulk of the supporters. But really, Poppy facism? While I agree with it being a matter of choice, I think it has no place in football. Look at the crap James McClean gets for exercising his right to choose not to wear one. Look at a lot of the Premier League matches over the weekend. I imagine that a lot of players are just given shirts with them on and they choose to wear it rather than face the social media repercussions and column inches written if they didn't. Players from other continents or, for example, other religions who might not feel passionately about WW1 I expect just wear it for an easier ride.
