Today shows how weak our squad is and how reliant we are on our first 13 true fit players. Finley, Martin, Taylor in here and we in this easily. Not his fault he’s been blighted by injuries and players brought in by JB are injury prone

Hoping for a good win to raise everyone’s spirits again after the poor midweek showing. 3-1 gas as we struggle keeping clean sheets

We've also been Bristol Rovers for over a hundred years, surely time for a change there. What the hell is a Rover anyway? A car? A dog's name? Also Gasheads. Surely with today's announcement about temperatures exceeding the 1.5 degree threshold, that has to go. Up the Windheads? Hmmmmm……..with our history of grounds it’s probably the most appropriate name out of the whole football league We’ve roved the waves as pirates - attempting to steal and pillage the Library when they went bust in 82. And we’ve roved from Purdown to Eastville to The Library to Twerton to the Mem - need I say more

I first watched Rovers when aged 11 the season after England won the world cup in 1966 - 3-1 win v Bury. The biggest changes since then for me have been The entitlement and the expectation brought around by social media People demand every thing now and feel they are entitled to it. We see it on here. We want better owners with more money; new ground; new facilities; better management; better background staff; a scouting team; U21 team ; progression of our youngsters to the 1st team not developing other teams players; more seats and tickets; better communication - the list goes on. And why ……….. because we are Bristol Rovers and we are entitled and we want it now. God life supporting Rovers was so much simpler and easier then despite the terrace fighting !!

I’d like to think we have some momentum now. Fleetwood might be used to any adverse conditions but are they ready for the new Rovers. Not going to get carried away but realistically we have a very good chance of gaining 6 points following the next 2 home games as we usually do well at home to Burton Momentum is everything and if we go into Stevenage on the back of 4 wins we are going to be a very different animal Bring it on

Still down here in a hotel and forgot how annoying rooming with your kids can be re waking up early so gonna reflect as he farts about in the room 🤣 St Ann’s well pub was great before the game. Took a gamble as wasn’t clear it was actually open as a bit of research suggested it had shut for a while on and off recently but alas it was. Got there early which was a good call as became mobbed by 1,15. Pretty sure at first we were on a table at first next to one of the GasCast lads as recognised his dulcet tones. Toilets in there proper old school stinking of “man water” 🤣 On to the ground and signs stuck up every 5 metres “Bristol rovers no alcohol served in this stand “ Decentish performance did enough.quite liked the look of “Christina” and a good goal. Seemed the terrace was a bit overly packed ? Super Jed ward in goal was solid again, liking the look of him. Special mention to the Exeter sub who took pelters in the corner where we were stood because of the size of his nose 🤣🤣 Walking back into town amongst their Exeter “yoof” was a good laugh. Faces on the floor and few of them trying to kick off with their own fans. Another great day. We’ll go down for breakfast soon so I’ll stop rambling now Up the bloody rovers 👍👍 Got a picture of the BS16 flag outside the pub but says too big to post

Only saw parts of the 2nd half today, but Jed Ward take a bow. Not sure if our standards have been lowered so much, or he’s truly an excellent keeper, but honestly, every time Exeter were 1:1 or through on goal, I just immediately assumed goal. I’d forgotten what it was like for our GK to actually pull off a save where you expect the striker to score. It’s so refreshing. Looking forward to seeing him develop in the 1st team Absolutely and we might even have a goalkeeper that saves a penalty. What a novelty that would be

Matty Taylor referenced having staff in the building with contacts in the football world as being responsible for getting the loans in from Forest, Hull etc. in his after match talk to Bristol Live. That seems to put to bed the thought that we have nobody with any idea about recruitment. I thought this Dave, I don’t think we will be seeing pension pot signings anymore and players will be having proper medicals as well. And hopefully the end of all the bollocks that Taylor has no back room staff and no scouting contacts outside of Team Bath and Exeter. We’ve got our Rovers back
