Nice of you to join us again after 3 defeats on the trot. We're a much better side than 2 years ago and hopefully we'll sign a striker soon and start climbing that table again. It's early days and I didn't hear anybody moaning after the fantasic 2 away wins at luton and Yeovil. Yes we lack a goal scorer but we've proved we're a good side just need to be a bit more concistent and we'll be just fine. I wish people would stop bloody moaning already it really doesn't help. If we win next Saturday at Plymouth does that make us a good side again? Stay with in touching distance of the play offs and then add to the squad properly in January and we'll be just fine. We normally end the season well anyway. There's no way we'll be in a relegation battle this season so just relax. We lack creativity not a striker. A blind person can see that. Just look at the chances created for the strikers today - none I don't want an argument at all I really don't - but what frustrates me is that there is some truth in your posts at times but your vendetta against Chris Lines makes it impossible to take anything you say seriously. Can you honestly not see that at all?

I've chosen my favourites in a team line up. G.K. Martin Thomas R.B. David Pritchard C.B. Steve Yates C.B. Andy Tillson. L.B. Lyndsay Parsons R.M. Kenny Stephens C.M. Jamie Shore C.M. Wayne Jones L.M. Mickey Barrett. Striker. Rickie Lambert Striker. Marcus Stewart Poke and Matty Taylor are shocking admissions. I would have said omissions but okay...

Watched on the television.
Chapman 6.5 Not much to do today, no chance with the goal, distribution much better than most keepers we've had in the last five years.
Sinclair 8.5 Surprisingly quick, brilliant leap on him, unbelievable work rate and he's been better technically this season than I'd anticipated. He embodies everything we should be encouraging at this club. Parkes 4 Very disappointed with his performance today. Still Over-plays at the back too often and heading is dreadful at times. J Clarke 6.5 Did okay, not quite up to the performances earlier in the seasons Lockyer 7 Better than he is at right-back, light years ahead of what he was as a CM. Becoming one of the first names on the team sheet. Brown 7.5 Back to his best, assured performance defensively and offensively.
Mansell 6.5 Did okay. Welcomed his experience. O Clarke 5 Would always take a mark off for a red card, even though he probably didn't deserve it today. Lines 9 Different class. Best player on the pitch.
Easter 6.5 Linked up play okay and useful experience. Needs to be more involved. Taylor 4 Wasn't his number one fan last season and I'm certainly not now tbh. Not a league striker.
Montano 3 Pretty disappointing unfortunately. Hopeless shot over the stands. Bodin 6.5 Not really on long enough to mark, looked lively enough when he came on in fairness to him. Harrison 6.5 Meh. Did okay.
DC 7 Meh. Did okay. We played some good football at times and never gave up on the game. Starting to worry about our lack of goals. Crowd 6 Meh. Did okay. Ref 2.5 Did book a number of their players in fairness, but a catalogue of errors that have been described elsewhere. Oxford 7 Well organised but nothing special. Roofe easily their best player, and probably second best on the pitch behind Linesy.

Not sure the FFS effectively setting up in retail competition against the club is a wise move given the club clearly needs all the income it can generate, unless the FFS agree at the outset to contribute, say, 25% of each sale to the club? Agreed. In normal circumstances I would say it was quite a good idea, but given the current financial situation at the club the last thing we want is to be taking sales away from them.

I truly don't want to be seen as boring or miserable, but sometimes this kind of thing is almost as disruptive as all the bickering we've been talking about today. This was a sensible discussion about the club's retail and it's now a write-off because of a page of jokes and puns. I actually really like you all as posters and I think on here we generally have a good sense of humour, but when it detracts from serious threads it's maybe an idea to do it over on General Chat or wherever. I hope that comes across as reasonable and not as a huge criticism or attack on anybody, as it's not intended in that way. Agreed. On another note...is this why Hugo ended upl leaving I guess? I did notice that, but I'm not sure how much milder my post could possibly have been. I think/hope it's not the reason, and it strikes me as extremely sensitive if it is.

The trouble is, we have had the very same discussion on a number of threads all summer and nothing will ever change while we have these dinosaurs in charge. Those who put their words into actions were pushed away by the club and are now selling the merchandise that the club rejected. I agree with you completely, which is in essence why I hadn't commented on the thread myself. However, just because you or I don't deem a subject worthy of further discussion it doesn't mean it's right to just obliterate it with the Monty Python stuff, however amusing it might be, when others still want to discuss it.

That's a pretty bizarre comment. Aside from the fact that you can't construct a simple sentence, why on earth would I possibly care enough to sue you? Is it supposed to be a joke? You used to drone on about court all the time on the old OF did you not, did Chris Lines take you to court once with GGMI as his barrister? Chris Lines wouldnt last in court. He'd start well in the witness box but then disappear for the remaining 85mins of questioning. Excellent. You and Tommy Cooper.

GGMI can be an irritating poster at times and he posts more frequently than he probably should, but you are a complete tosser and the worst kind of bullying keyboard warrior, so you know, swings and roundabouts really. If i am bully then sue me. See you in court. That's a pretty bizarre comment. Aside from the fact that you can't construct a simple sentence, why on earth would I possibly care enough to sue you?
