Bored and a bit hungover, which is what Sundays are all about really!

It's just boring for everybody. It does the opposite of what you presumably think it does.

Apply it to the context of any other job and it wouldn't be acceptable would it? If a Tesco executive posted on Twitter "amazed at the brilliant new meal deal offer at Asda" it would be grounds for disciplinary action. Footballers live in enough of a dreamworld already without people constantly tripping over themselves to offer excuses for unacceptable behaviour.

Personally I don't give a f*ck what he says as long as he performs on a Saturday. But he is a professional footballer and in the modern day social media usage is more or less a part of the job. I can completely understand why some fans might see it as disrespectful, and it's certainly unprofessional. I don't believe that he is stupid enough not to realise what people's reactions would be, so he's essentially mocking people who give up their wages to support him and watch him play. Really disappointing.

I haven't yet posted on this thread (a rare breed I think!) but the question that springs to my mind is what do the ITKs think will happen if they reveal their source? If there is truly a corporation with tens of millions interested in purchasing their club, do we think they will instantly walk away if information is revealed on a fans forum? Amiable enquiry

Beware. Consortium On Board back when i lived in cardiff me and my mates had penis stickers made in bright neon colours and we then went around sticking them on things. The burger van in nantgarw still has a bright pink man sail on it to this very day

Yeah, sorry I've been wrong all along. 60 appearances. 12 goals. Unable to hold down a place in his preferred position. Rarely completed 90 mins. Dropped down from a career high of playing at local giants Bristol City 1982 LTD where he was so awesome he failed to add to his 2 friendly caps where he came on as a sub both times. Best player we've ever had. Cheers guys. That's beneath you mate - all about opinions.

Once again, Clarkson was the best footballer we've had in years.

Wow, what a plonker perhaps somebody should bring his post to the attention of the Bucks FA? Get it done! Not much respect in that post!

I f*cking loved him and I'd have him back here like a shot. When was the last time we had a tall, strong, aggressive central midfielder who could score goals with his feet and his head. For that matter how many central midfielders are there with those qualities below Championship level? He was our talisman for a while. 15 goals he got in that team, and we had some abominably bad players. Was he a bit of a kn*b at times? Yes. Does everybody wish he hadn't done that interview? Yes. Ultimately we were a better side with him in it and we'd be a better side with him in it now.

Career mode, mildy is 37 y.o and on 5 year contract Can usually solve issues like this by transferring him away from Rovers in the main game, then put him straight back and start a career. He should be on a two or three year deal then if that helps. I don't see things like this as cheating because it's not as if a 37 year old would ever be on a five year deal.

Useless/rusty/nervous surely all mean more of less the same i.e. he might not be very good. For this game yeah. If we had signed him then it wouldn't have just been for the one game! This makes perfect sense, don't understand why people have to be having a dig all the time.

Having flashbacks to my Scooby Doo years with all this cloak and dagger nonsense! And you would of gotten away with it if it wasn't for those pesky third party backers right? I blame the creepy old janitor/kitman.

What so you truly think he's just doing it out of the goodness of his heart? The world doesn't work that way I'm afraid, there will be an ulterior motive whether we are ever party to what it is or not. Yeah, at a guess, I would say the mysterious third party backer wants one of their own on the board. Having flashbacks to my Scooby Doo years with all this cloak and dagger nonsense!

I do many things for free and never expect anything in return. Some people do , some people don't, I am guessing you don't ? Not in a business capacity you presumably don't though, and neither do I. It's the equivalent of somebody who has previously worked for Tesco in a senior capacity walking into an Asda and giving them tips about pricing and product placement for free. You would immediately wonder what their motives were, of course.

Yeah, doing it for free ? he could pay us £1 million a week and some would moan. What so you truly think he's just doing it out of the goodness of his heart? The world doesn't work that way I'm afraid, there will be an ulterior motive whether we are ever party to what it is or not.

Why don't we shoot ourselves in the foot ! I honestly believe as soon as we go negative those reds get on our forum or those negative posters have a field day get off now !!!! We are a proud club and UPTG There's nothing morally superior to being positive. If stuff is happening that you think is bad for the club, then it's fair to be negative about it. What is more damaging to the club is being positive about things you think are bad. You know, this is fundamental to the human experience. Not sure why so many people can't grasp it. Forums aren't magical places where if you pretend things are going well, then things get better in real life. This is actually one of the best posts I've read in ages, which is kind of worrying in itself!
