It's the obvious formation for a side that has no decent wingers which is having trouble breaking sides down at home. I actually think we should try it next home game. Lucas up top, even Bliss we need to try something. I actually quite like this as an idea: Nicholls/Mildy Leads Lockyer Macca Brown Sinclair Mansell Taylor Easter Harrison Lucas And then try and pull in a more experienced big forward as soon as possible. Bodin could also slot in to any of the three positions behind the forward as well I would imagine though. Won't happen though!

This is not a P""" take, I honestly think he is short sighted, he has been beaten by a few long Rangers, part of his game is excellent, anybody else noticed this? I'm not sure how many clubs Lee has been at but they will all employ doctors, physios and the like. With respect it seems unlikely that any of us could notice something in a few games that they haven't over his career.

Come on Nick do the club a favour and ring the consortium first thing in the morning and bring this nightmare to an end! Darrel Clarke is a good manager but does not have a budget to compete in this league, let's bring in new owners who can at least give the team a chance to compete, Darrel has worked miracles so far with the weakest squad in our history! Harrison, Taylor, Bodin, Brown, Mansell, Parkes, Gosling, Blissett, Montano, Lines... If there is a consortium interested in buying the club now is the time to accept their offer, one thing is for sure they cant be any worse! Completely agree with the point you are making, although it is worth remembering that DC brought in seven of the ten players you mention. Ultimately I think we can all see that Darrell is doing a reasonable job this season with a very limited budget.

I don't feel any particular need to justify myself to you or to ruin what remains of this thread. I'm not sure how much more reasonable I could possibly have been so I'm just going to leave you to it. Of course you do, you said I was aggressive in my post. All I want to know for future post's is what part was I aggressive, so I don't seem "keyboard warrior" to you in future, that's all. Why won't you show me? You accused me of being a keyboard warrior & aggressive, yet you won't show me how. Why not? Seems strange for admin to say this, yet won't show me how to correct myself. If you don't want to admit you're not man enough and say you were wrong then that's fine. But just remeber your faillure in future, eh? "If I misread your meaning then I apologise." Genuinely not sure what more you want from me.

You've chosen to take it like this, there was no need to. I thought your tone was aggressive, you didn't think so, fine. If you want to make a huge deal about it that's your prerogative, but there isn't any need to. You (a moderator) Said my post was aggressive. All I want to know for future post's is what part of it was aggressive, that's all. Was it the first question, or the second? Just so I know for future post's. I don't feel any particular need to justify myself to you or to ruin what remains of this thread. I'm not sure how much more reasonable I could possibly have been so I'm just going to leave you to it.

There's really no need for you to do the keyboard warrior thing. I'm saying nothing changes when it happens to us. We won't sort out our set pieces, we won't bother to work out why we are so sh*t playing at home. Other clubs would. Serious question now, and I want a serious answer. What part of my post made me a "keybord warrior?" No snide remarks, what part of my post made me a "keyboard board warrior?" Just wasn't a fan of the "obvious" part and the tone of it. By no means a big deal though I just thought you might have phrased it so it came across less aggressively. If I misread your meaning then I apologise.

At most clubs this wouldn't be acceptable, and that probably says quite a lot about us unfortunately. Obviously it's not acceptable for us. What point are you trying to make? Are you saying it is for us? There's really no need for you to do the keyboard warrior thing. I'm saying nothing changes when it happens to us. We won't sort out our set pieces, we won't bother to work out why we are so sh*t playing at home. Other clubs would.

I don't think it helps that we haven't had a truly exciting striker in nearly 15years. Some decent enough ones yes, but for me Hayles and Roberts were the last 2 strikers who properly got me excited. Will Hoskins wasn't bad for a while, remember him scoring against Brighton after about a minute when they were top of the league.

From the current squad there's two players I'd mention: Manse because he's a leader and clearly a big character in the dressing room - model pro Also Ellis because despite everything he's one of not many players in the last few years who still has the capability to get me excited when the ball comes to him in space.

What's the bet Balanta will score against us? ...and if he does good luck to him. When all is said and done this is a mid-table game and the result will not be crucial (important but not season changing) whereas in May when the pressure was on he kept his nerve and scored a great penalty to help get us back in league. Well done Angelo, you didn't play often but you scored some crucial goals in matches that really did matter. I hope he gets a loud, enthusiastic and respectful cheer and if he does score I hope everyone just keeps quiet and remembers because that day it really DID matter. UTG!! Good shout. More mature and reasonable thinking than we normally see about ex-players! Are you sure you're on the right forum...

I wouldn't mind having a go as I'm pretty uncontroversial on here which is maybe what's needed at the moment! I'm probably on here maybe half an hour to an hour a day. Wouldn't want to take it on ahead of others if they were desperate to do it, but as I say I'd have a go if required.

when 3 rovers players watch city play but only one is vilified it smacks of blatant racism in my opinion This post is an embarrassment and an insult to everybody who uses this forum. If this isn't a ban then it's obvious that the mods won't ban anyone for anything, and this place is just going to get more and more poisonous.

For me the key issue is professionalism though. Even if Ellis was screaming C*ty chants on a megaphone from the roof of his house I personally wouldn't lose any sleep over it. We are a professional football team and what we should be asking is: Would Alex Ferguson accept one of his United side watching a game in the Man City end? Would Jose Mourinho accept one of his Real Madrid side watching a game in the Barca end? Would Kenny Dalglish accept one of his Liverpool side watching a game in the Everton end? There's the answer then.

I sadly have to add weight to this subject as it has now cost the FFSC two extremely valuable members who i personally now consider friends and i am very saddened they now feel unable to post on here - I ask that the subject matter be considered and dealt with on behalf of other FFS/GasChat members who know and regard Gashead Blues and Bideford as well respected Gasheads - i realise it's not comfortable to discuss but cannot stand by and just watch good Gasheads move on I can only imagine Unigas will also miss their significant contribution - btw nothing personal against the particular poster but a solution to this problem needs to be found and quickly - Regards & UTG Fully understand it is disappointing to lose 2 members Jon. I hope you understand that I can't force them to stay, unfortunate that me trying to defend a Rovers player has resulted in such actions and if I realised that was the case then I maybe wouldn't have said the "lover boy" bit. I still would have defended Taylor though as I rate him and I am a passionate gashead who will always have an opinion. Thing is I don't even believe you care about Taylor. Istm you've just chosen the most controversial viewpoint on the most controversial topic on the forum and just chase people round on threads starting arguments about it. Believe me, everyone on here (except those who have already blocked you) know that you at least claim to rate Taylor. So just shut up about it.

Presumably because it's a forum and that allows for anyone to discuss anything. Just seemed a bit random. And you wouldn't know anything about that..
