I have five of last seasons squad in Matryoshka dolls. Yeah I have some of these as well, think Harrold and Anyinsah were two of them, Virgo as well I think? Now that I think about it it might have been a bad dream...

Ooops and one sent off. Does that count for aq suspension against us, or just in the cup? I think it's just a domestic suspension, so it should apply for Saturday (don't quote me on that!).

According to the relevant admin pages a member called Ricardo is still registered and was last online four hours ago. He isn't listed as a banned member either. Is he sure he has the right log-in details? Otherwise I am at a loss unless Hugo the Elder can shed any further light.

According to Wiki he scored 19 in 17 at Limerick, and also got two on his full Cambridge debut. Not a bad choice under the circumstances I think, it's highly unlikely anybody's going to loan out a forward with more than about five first-team goals this season anyway.

As a fanbase we're a bit of a caricature at times though - we're absolutely obsessed with relegation and promotion battles and we're desperate to relate every result to one or the other. We need to learn that sometimes a mid-table finish is okay for a club in certain situations. Finishing mid-table would be by no means a disaster for us, and it looks like that's where we're headed.

For repeatedly taking threads off topic. It's boring and it ruins people's enjoyment of the forum. I was a poster on this and the old OF for around five years before I became a moderator, and this is the kind of thing that I know myself and countless other posters want to see discouraged. Every poster is free to express any views they choose on suitable threads, and I don't think this is one of them. I am of course not paid to moderate this forum, I do it to try and take part in making it the kind of place where people want to spend time. I do this with the best intentions and with my best judgement, rather than constantly clutching a rulebook. If there is a problem with that all I can do is apologise and continue to try to find a balanced style of moderation. you should give a warning to all the people who go on about how great Taylor is constantly aswell then I haven't given anybody a warning. I think my post is reasonable and explains what I have tried to do here, I truly find it difficult to see how somebody can have a major problem with this.

Can you give it a break? It's a reasonable and on topic point about Disley, why not just leave it there eh? Everybody on here knows how you feel about Taylor, it doesn't need to hijack every new thread with a vague connection to scoring goals. I am categorically speaking as another poster and not a moderator at this point, but I feel that I will be forced to start taking action if this continues to excess, for the enjoyment of other posters. Thanks. Take action for what? He's only voicing an opinion. He may be over repetitive with his view, and whether you agree with it or not,he hasn't broken any forum rules, as far as I am aware. Would you care to clarify what you mean? For repeatedly taking threads off topic. It's boring and it ruins people's enjoyment of the forum. We never replaced Disley. He was brilliant at making late runs in to the danger area. Nobody has done that since he left. Also we need a striker than doesnt continuosly main sail up simple chances. Nichols 7 A competent performance. James Clark 6 A steady game. Parkes 8 MOM McChrystal 5 This was a below par performance from our captain. Playing with the wind in the first half most of his passes went too long and it was no surprise when he was substituted at half time. Lee Brown 7.5 another good performance from Lee Billy Bodin 6 This was another mixed game from Billy. Sinclair 7.5 this was pretty well a standard performance from Stuart Montano 5 After last week's performance this was a bit of a disappointment Matty Taylor 7 Had a good game.Worked hard and unlucky a few times. Easter 7 Harrison 6 Tried hard and showed strength and skill Lockyer 8 Faultless performance when he came on Gosling 4 Did little Crowd 7 Another tremendous turnout of 850 odd Referee 4 Could somebody tell the referee that it is the game we come to watch and not him. Linesman on our side 2 Very poor as their first goal was yards offside and was often behind play. Any score for Chris Lines mate?

I have merged oldsage's thread with the existing one as the topic is exactly the same. Have also altered title to make it clearer. Oldsage please don't feel discouraged from posting, you are most welcome!

Personal trainer!! He struggled running around on a pitch for half a match!! He just went overboard bulking up though, so I suppose if that's what you want from a personal trainer he'd probably be quite good at it!

Where is the abuse on this thread though? Reading through I think most are either reasonable concerns or jokes. As the joke questions obviously aren't going to be brought up at the meeting I can't why Nick should have a problem with the genuine concerns of fans at an AGM? Bill i am not talking about this thread, some posters will try to turn every thread into a kick NH one Yeah that's fair enough, some people want to bring everything back to their own agenda.

And that my dear Hugo is the conundrum, how many of the detractors on here are supporters club members and have they the cahoonas to be so abusive to the face of the man? Sorry that's two questions Where is the abuse on this thread though? Reading through I think most are either reasonable concerns or jokes. Much more than we can afford I'd have thought! Point was really just that a big man can bring attributes to a team that aren't just technical ball skills. When was the last time we actually had a big man small man front partnership? Roberts & Cureton? Lambert was taller than Roberts I believe, so I suppose Lambert and Kuffour would technically qualify?

But you could argue that height, strength, aggression and aerial ability are all what a "big man" like Corr could bring to a team. These are qualities we lack a lot of the time and they seem to be the qualities most are suggesting we look for in a new forward? Trouble is, how much does a big strong forward who's good in the air, good on the ground cost these days? Much more than we can afford I'd have thought! The good old 'big man' shout, just so boring now......this is 2015 not 1982, football has moved on!! Harrold was big, and actually very good on the ground, and scored 19 one season, I believe, but was still slated by many. Rather than the size of the footballer, I suggest we focus on their ability, and what they can bring to the team. But you could argue that height, strength, aggression and aerial ability are all what a "big man" like Corr could bring to a team. Hoping and doubting that this is true simultaneously. He is a proven goalscorer and we don't really seem to go in for signing proven goalscorers at Rovers unfortunately. Would be a good signing, and last season there was definitely talk of it, so fingers crossed.

Thoughts go out to everybody involved, can only hope for as few casualties and serious injuries as possible. Why do we keep doing these things to one another
