As bad a window we've had.
That said many (including me) thought our summer window was great.

Hope the kids OK. But feels a bit counter productive to block the development of Beefy/ Hoole to develop another clubs kid.
Head scratching at this.

If the equation is 7 out and 1 in. Hard to justify the season ticket renewal. Feels like they've passed up on 40% of my original investment. Not cheap for board apathy. My thoughts exactly, feel like taking my ST back and asking them to credit the remaining games to next season. Impossible to justify that we're currently stronger than 31st December.

You forgot the 2 loans going back Woods and Bogarde so if Gordon leaves that is 7 gone Club bailing out of a playoff push budget. Hopefully we have enough to see us through to safety to rebuild in the summer. I’m ok with it, disappointing as it may be. Long term probably the right thing. Whilst I semi agree- not getting a partner for Martin would be disappointing. I'd like to be able to assess the next half of the season with that second striker position addressed. In turn we'd know how far/ close we are. Without that piece we'd be in guess land.

Yeah it's weird. I always think in proportion to our league we've had better strikers than the sh**. Probably proven by many going upwards in their career after us. But we haven't had many in other positions. Especially centre mid. Who was the last CM, that got a good move from us? Holloway? Chris Lines? Fair shout. But not many.

Paul have a great time, we ve got 24.5 hours left mate of the window No wonder I’ve been ignored all night, thanks brother! Singular or chance of a second? We seem a funny bunch in the negotiation room. That said- I do think from a players perspective were clearly more attractive than ever. Seems like players are very open/ interested in what we have to offer.

we've had great strikers in the past and failed to get promotion. Rest of team needs to be better. Yeah it's weird. I always think in proportion to our league we've had better strikers than the sh**. Probably proven by many going upwards in their career after us. But we haven't had many in other positions. Especially centre mid. Who was the last CM, that got a good move from us? Holloway? It's weird that certain clubs seem to produce certain types of player/ positions.

“Maybe a little business” the famous words of the ambitious owner taking us to the Premiership! Radio silence my end, blue ticks as well! Blue ticks?

Sensing some sincere efforts to get good transfer buisness done before tomorrow is over. Hold on to your hats. What do you mean by sensing? If it's you had one pint too many and feeling over confident after the pub then it doesn't mean too much lol Since the new owners have come in- we haven't kept a lid on transfer news. People have found out. Murmurs quite apparent. Equally- people have not been against going public. I derive either- there is nothing; or some decent efforts are being made and those that know are unkeen to ruin things. Just a sense.

I think the lack of red in the box, is an issue. In both seasons. He was scoring fantastic long pots when confident but that wasn't sustainable. Particularly when we switched to a position base side rather than counter attack. Yet Aaron Collins has still had more shots at goal and more shots on target than the Divisions top scorer. Devante Cole has scored 16 Aaron Collins has scored 3. Aaron Collins has had 61 shots so far this season, with 29 on target, only scoring with 3 of them. A conversion rate of just 6.25%. Last season he had 75 shots in the whole campaign, 46 were on target, scoring with 16 of them. A conversion rate of 21.33%. He's just missed a lot more chances this year, that's the reason he's only got 3 goals this season. It's as simple as that. For all those shots... I can't recall many "sitters" missed. I think he's shooting from positions goals are unlikely. Last year I felt he outscored from the positions he got in.

Better in a more direct approach

I agree. I don't buy its his call. Also totally strange for a manager to be content with his C option. He should be imploring his A pick.

I think this window is really important. Get a couple more decent additions and we'll have some decent momentum heading into the summer. Nothing at all coming out of Rovers to suggest we're attempting to sign anymore players. The club really knows how to make transfer deadline weeks boring for its fans! But we'll all still be on here- refreshing...
