Smith 5 trouble is we need a keeper who can produce 7s and 8s
Leadbitter 7 Worked hard, caused what few problems the Dons had Lockyer 4 Hope Colman takes him to Sunderland for a decent fee. Broadbent 4 As the junior defender can't be blamed, but seams to have lost his strength Brown 6 Average + 1 for the goal
Sinclair 5 Harsh booking, made him hold off a bit I thought O Clarke 3 Surprised he lasted 45 minutes, Major reason we're so fragile Lines 5 Being asked to defend, it's not his game Sercombe 6 Best of the midfield
Harrison 6 Workrate great, nose for goal completly missing Nichols 4 One shot well saved, that's it
Subs: Sweeney 5 Looked like damage limitation bringing him on Bodin 6 Couldn't make up the difference in the two teams Gaffney 6 Reasonable threat
Crowd 4 Give us something to cheer about Ref 6 Got taken in by the lino for Sincs booking, apart from that OK Dons 6 Could have been 8 but they were so wasteful first half

Mansell is still registered to play - leader and captain is what's needed Spoke to him last night - needs the call Mangers are reluctant to introduce a part time player to provide leadership, they are a threat to their job. Paul Trollope / Ian Atkins

Last night Patrice Evra was sent off before the game started, BBC seemed to think this was unique. But I recall in the 1964 FA cup match against Stockport, Rovers had a player sent off in the warm up. John Brown I think it was, he was replaced by Alex Munroe. Anyone else remember it?

Why was Blackpool CAT A? I thought supporters were paying at the gate. And I'm trying to think if there are any teams that would warrant a CAT C.

Slocombe 7 No chance with the goal, wasn't really tested, but that's not his fault.
Bola 7 Out of position but it didn't bother him. Partington 5 Out of position and it showed for their goal. Broadbent 7 Strong performance Brown 7 Best game I've seen him play this season
Bodin 7 He's always threat, fair game and a goal O. Clarke 6 Had a good last 30 minutes Lines 8.5 Would walk into any team in L1 Moore 6 DC wanted to take two players off and his booking did for him, or else it would have been Clarke
Nichols 6 Still needs a goal, but he his better than James, just. Harrison 9 His goal pips Lines for MotM. Defends so well now
Subs: Sweeney 8 Solid 7 and a goal makes 8 Sercombe 7.5 45 minute energy level proved decisvie Telford 6.5 Keeper kept his mark down.
Crowd 8 Blackthorn was impressive today. Ref 2 After the last 3 games this was the worst ref we could have had. Blackpool 6 If they had Lines and Bodin they would probably stay top 6.

Smith 2 Alias Roos and Puddy
Leadbitter 4 Couldn't cope with their winger Lockyer 7 Best defender Sweeney 6 Improving slightly + a goal Brown 5 Defends ok but the overlapping seems to stutter.
Moore 5 Put in some decent crosses first half then the effort vanished. O. Clarke 4 Didn't notice him, when's the Beard back? Sercombe 6 Best of the midfield Bodin 5 Flashes of skill
Nichols 5 Needs a goal Harrison 5 Plenty of effort but not direct enough
Subs: Gaffney 6 Knows where the net is, why not start him. Lines 6 Made a difference straight away Telford
Crowd Came awake after the equaliser, pity the team went to sleep. Ref 4 Not to bad for a Conference Ref Oldham 6 Bottom of the League, why us.
Why DC started without Partington, Lines and Gaffney I don't know. And Smith, he can't be first choice surely.

A loan or unregistered will get a Puddy, Roos or Nichols; no thanks. One game take a chance, 3 register Milds.

They had their chance to offer Macca the role. He was always talking and encouraging team mates especially Leadbitter.

Slocombe 7 Competent
Partington 8 Composed defending decent crossing Lockyer 8 Much better with Partington at RB rather than the half fit Leads Sweeney 6 Most of Fleetwoods threat was aimed at him and Brown and it showed Brown 6.5 Better passing than Sweeney hence the extra half mark.
Sinclair 7 Six for the usual workrate + 1 for the goal. O. Clarke 7 All round good performance Sercombe 7.5 Workrate of the Beard, skill of Lines
Bodin 8 Gareth Bale of L1 Gaffney 7 Whole hearted, made the first goal Nichols 6 Probably the only player I would swap with his Fleetwood counterpart
Subs: Lines 7 Decent defending and usual long pass accuracy Harrison 8.5 Besides putting Fleetwood under a lot of pressure, I thought he was Rovers best defender in the last ten minutes. MoM Moore 6.5 I guess this means not on long enough
Crowd 8 Something to cheer about so we did Ref 5 Nothing that altered the result Fleetwood 6 Expected more, but I guess that was down to Rovers

I normally buy an early bird, but today I bought a ticket at the ground. I also like to pay cash (no service charge) but didn't have enough. when he handed the machine for me to put my pin in the price was £1150, glad I didn't have a POTD contactless. That's why they ask you to check the amount 😉👍 He didn't ask.

It's hard enough getting change from a 20 theee days let alone a 50. More pertinent - why can't you POTD contactless? I normally buy an early bird, but today I bought a ticket at the ground. I also like to pay cash (no service charge) but didn't have enough. when he handed the machine for me to put my pin in the price was £1150, glad I didn't have a POTD contactless.

Pretty sure last year, when we had the leakiest defence in the division at the start of December, posters were questioning what exactly Steve Yates was doing. That was down to Kelle Roos

It should of been Macca, he was always encouraging and talking to Leadbitter. To lose both him and SY is why we're seeing the shambles in defence now.

Just a thought, wonder if losing Steve Yates as defensive coach is one of the problems.

Just thought I'd mention; Blissett was deemed good enough to start and play 80 minutes in a victory against Charlton yesterday.
