Ah, right, I see. It's all Al Saeed's fault. Can I ask if you have a job and career? Imagine where you work, your business is taken over by new owners and they let everyone know that they are bringing in fresh blood and getting rid of loads of people, what do you think the morale will be like? But it’s not all his fault. I'd up my game, make sure I'm considered worth keeping if I wanted to stay.

Skip to 1min in for the celebrations. I'm in there somewhere, it was an incredible goal which we barely deserved if I remember rightly

Claremont Gas, You must hate Wilson to give him a 3. Nobody in that squad today deserved less than a 6.They battled from beginning to end to restrict a good side on form to very very few actual chances and for the first time in god knows how long we didnt really look like conceding despite a ridiculous amount of corners conceded. Every player put their body on the line for the team. i think Wilson has had a couple of bad performances since he was injured but today was definitely not one of them. A silly sending off maybe but it could easily have been anybody with that referee. Yeah, they had 18 corners and 17 shots, but I didn't really feel like they'd score. Credit to the hard work and great defending by us

I went for Conteh, but would be happy if Taylor, Finley, Evans or Thomas won. Conteh deceives in that most things he does look effortless, and I don't think I've seen him lose composure at all. Thomas is a great shout too, works his little arse off and often pickpockets fullbacks. A team with Taylor, Finley Evans, Thomas and Conteh playing 40 odd games a season would be great to see

He must've done. The flight of the ball wasn't quite right for it to have gone in directly. Seeing the replay, he may have touched it, but the ball didn't seem to change its course and was going in anyway

Did the teds celebrate a goal with a flare thrown on the pitch, only for the goal to be disallowed? 😊

www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/20242/february/recruitment-update/'Bristol Rovers Football Club is delighted to confirm the new structure of the recruitment department at the club. George Friend will be retiring from playing with immediate effect. After consultation with Matt Taylor and the board, he will be taking on the role of Director of Football. George has had an illustrious career spanning 19 years, throughout which he made over 500 appearances. On his retirement George said “I’ve learnt something from every single person on my journey. I want to thank all those who helped me achieve more than I could have ever imagined. Team mates, staff, managers, owners and fans…” Regarding his new role George said “I now remain determined and ambitious to succeed in my role here at Rovers. It is where I started my footballing journey as a youngster, and it feels very apt that it’s where I will finish playing.” As part of the changes to the department, Chris Spendlove has been promoted from Chief Scout, to Head of Recruitment. Adam Mahoney has taken on a new role as Head of Data and Analysis in the recruitment department. On these changes Matt Taylor said “I am delighted we have assembled this team and am excited by what the future will bring. There is a lot of work to do ahead of the summer, and the team are already working tirelessly to ensure that we attract the right players to the club.” Club Chairman Hussain Al Saeed said “This new department is a step forward for the football club. We will give this team our full backing and all the tools they need to help us achieve success. We wish them well in their new roles” '

Yep, where would you even start with his rap sheet. I particularly liked his funding an untested COVID 'cure' and wanted the tablets stamped with his name on. Then moved on to COVID denial comparing death numbers to influenza. As for the supreme court ruling, I'm sure we'll hear that referenced forever without end. The fact that Palmer admits to law suits being his hobby, and that he's said to spend vast sums on them to the point that opposition back down, tells me that this isn't likely to be a precedent to be taken seriously. Not to mention of course, that scientists, universities, health organisations, governments etc are all supposedly corruptible and complicit to corruption whereas an Australian supreme court is not. The only thing I disagree with you over is when you lumped him in with both Trump and Johnson. He's in the same category as Trump in so many ways but completely different to Johnson in so many others... Yeah maybe it was a lazy comparison. But rich, right wing, lying egomaniacs deserve to be lumped together as far as I'm concerned

Not at all, apologies if it came across that way. Palmer is an Australian mash up of Trump and Johnson and I'd expect everything he puts his money behind would cause me to bite against. ...the worst thing about Palmer (and it's a long list) is that he was against both key plans various Australian states had during the pandemic. I can see how someone would oppose * either* vaccine mandates * or* border closures. For him to argue against both at the height of a global pandemic just means he was willing to see more people than otherwise would have die from the virus... Yep, where would you even start with his rap sheet. I particularly liked his funding an untested COVID 'cure' and wanted the tablets stamped with his name on. Yikes, a billionaire egomaniac COVID denying anti-vaxxer. I wonder where his interests lie Don't shoot the messenger. Just sharing the ruling, that's all. Not at all, apologies if it came across that way. Palmer is an Australian mash up of Trump and Johnson and I'd expect everything he puts his money behind would cause me to bite against.
