He’s been on the bench past 5 games… you’re right he isn’t rubbish but again another strange TAYLOR decision. He's 21, and Rossiter needed some game time. Taylor knew Conteh will be in his plans next season and hopefully for many more to come. Let's judge Taylor after at least 15 games next season

Will wish him well if he goes, but hope we can persuade him to stay. He doesn't seem to have fitness issues and to replace him would cost at least what we'll probably get for him anyway. I think he's capable of more, seems to have all the attributes and works hard for the team. He'd hopefully step up further if we built the team around him and Conteh in midfield, with some pace upfront for him to supply. Scores goals, creates goals and works hard, we'd do very well to get another of him if he does leave.

He's saying he was trying to 'please everyone' rather than put out his best 11 for a particular game. It didn't sound in any way a dig at the owners to me. I don't believe for a minute that the team he put out v Reading was his best 11 for that game, Cheltenham clearly was (despite admitting he was 'risking' certain players). I've read lots about this being a time for experimenting, and I expect some of those in certain roles against Reading were pushing for a last chance in what I presume they see as their best positions. He was also probably mindful that had he stuck with doing that at Cheltenham on Saturday, even the more patient fans would kick off.
He's saying he's been acting in the best interests of the club, giving players a fair chance to prove themselves before replacing them rather than 'risking' (possibly) Ward and Rossiter. He's probably also saying he's been less inclined to start players he wants to keep. Sounds like a nightmare job to me, and an awful time to take over a squad with most of our better players carrying injuries, on their last legs, or both. Not to mention the ones that know they'll be elsewhere soon by choice or not. We'll just have to see what he does in the Summer, and it's far too early to write him off. I'll take being a bit uninspired by a dour sounding man, over being gaslighted by a psychopath, all day long.

Interesting listening to Taylor talk about recent selections, and how today he picked his best 11 for the day, as opposed to previous matches where he's picked the best 'for the club' and to keep others happy. It goes some way to explain strange selections which presumably were with the summer and next season in mind. Fair play to him for coming clean with that and he admitted that he risked some players today (presumably Rossiter, Ward, Hunt and Wilson) to get the result.
Hard to pick a standout today, they were all excellent, but thought Vale and Sinclair were very decent. Rossiter edged it for me though after so long out, and if we ever can get 30 games a season out of him we'd double our chances of a promotion push.

Went to school with the ridiculously named Malcolm Powder. I'm sure he was gas so hope he's not on here ** me! I read that and just literally peed myself, I'm still chuckling to myself five minutes later......... That was brilliant Known as Talc for years, probably still is. Even the teachers joined in, 'course you can Talcum' if he asked to go to toilet

He'll be losing the case no doubt, and then quite possibly his 3 bed semi in Widnes. Feel sorry for the family as his mental instability must be hell to live with

Ah, right, I see. It's all Al Saeed's fault. Can I ask if you have a job and career? Imagine where you work, your business is taken over by new owners and they let everyone know that they are bringing in fresh blood and getting rid of loads of people, what do you think the morale will be like? But it’s not all his fault. I'd up my game, make sure I'm considered worth keeping if I wanted to stay.

Skip to 1min in for the celebrations. I'm in there somewhere, it was an incredible goal which we barely deserved if I remember rightly
