It would be going against everything we stand for to relocate to South Bristol. I'd rather stay at the Mem than move into Ted Territory! I live south of the river, it isnt that bad. I dont want us to move to Ashton but If Liverpool and Everton can have grounds a stone throw away it happening in Bristol wouldnt be the worse thing to happen. That's all well and good about Liverpool & Everton, but they generally get on with each other, and this may have escaped your attention, but Rovers and the sh1t don't.

It'll never happen. Didn't she sh1t turn us down before when we wanted to re-develop the Mem, leading to the Cheltenham fiasco? The rosy faced cockwomble wants to put Rovers out of business. There is no way he would help us.

This is much more comparable but South Bristol doesnt necessarily mean on their back door

It would be nice gesture if the UWE (who up until now have not behaved like English Gentlemen with their delays and deliberate ignoring of deadlines) were to apologise to the Al-Qadi family.

Who says the delays were the fault of the UWE? the 'deliberate ignoring of deadlines' is a Red Herring. Please don't fall for that nonsense.

This is much more comparable but South Bristol doesnt necessarily mean on their back door I take it thats Dundee? As with Liverpool and Nottingham, Dundee doesn't have a Vitriolic rivalry between the two clubs like Bristol has. Probably because like Liverpool and Nottingham the two grounds have been there for well over 100 years, and there isn't a defined "territory" within the City. Rovers just rocking up and building a stadium in South Bristol would not work, and will never happen.

Or theirs isn't nonsense and ours always is?

Money on the table with a deal, didn't like that, wanted to lease the Ground rather than sell it. We offered the going price, wanted more. Now we've ended it they're in the press saying they can't understand why. Now we're the bad guys. Screw them.

Rovers just rocking up and building a stadium in South Bristol would not work, and will never happen. Why would it not work; would fans not go because its in South Bristol, even though many live there and have lived there for years? The north and south thing is total bollox anyway, its OUR city, north south east and bloody west. South Bristol is big enough that it could still be built far enough away from AG. Surely its worth exploring rather than just saying it wont work and wont happen. We wasted enough time and money over the last 18 months on the UWE deal after all...
