Time to lower our expectations, or all just a clever game of bluff, assuming that is UWE follow Wael on Twitter/Instagram?

That's assuming it was a gamble and in reality we simply can't afford the stadium, as somebody else has said S Glos have been quite, UWE have hardly said a lot, perhaps everyone now accept it's dead. Not doubting Gashead1981 but has anyone seen the tweets, as to say the UWE location is too far out of town is barmy, particularly when all the new developments in N Bristol are taking place their, give it 5 or 10 years and that whole area will be covered with housing right across to the M32/M5 motorways plus there's Emersons Green etc being developed. Don't think Uwe have accepted it's dead yet. Didn't they say they are going to carry on getting the site ready and carry on as though it's going ahead and that they still wanted it to happen. Hopefully they are trying to push it through and will force Wael to give the reasons behind the change of mind, if we don't agree terms. Good that UWE are taking this approach so the project is still viable is the Al Qadis change their mind and can find the money. That said, don't think it will happen. I'm not convinced the money is there despite past assurances.

How about a bit of creative design that allows the BS women's football team to play there, plus a BS Basketball Arena, which can also be used for the BS Badminton team, and also doubles up as Bristol Arena for a music venue. Planning permission is still relevant, and we all know someone who has the cash to pay for it, plus the boost to his ego would be immense. Oh, and the cost probably amounts to one years interest on his 1.5 billion pound fortune.

Being honest, if they played in the streets, then I wouldn't watch. Bit of a pointless saying isn't it?

Definitely over used. One person posts it and everyone follows like sheep Stop talking baaaaaallocks! To be honest this would make a better supporter IMO: "If they played on the pavements, I would watch from the streets" as then you would be risking your own lives instead of the players.

Has anyone had a look at the Official Site recently. They've put a picture of the UWE with a big cross (X) through it.
Bit of a kick in the teeth I thought. Why not quietly take it down and make no further fuss. If the club view pulling out of the deal as some sort of victory, then F##k me, they don't understand the fans very well, do they?

It feels like we are being mugged right off. The shoddy forced late night statement after news leaked on social media, UWE claiming not to have spoken to anyone about the deal being off, the nonsense Hamer quotes about becoming the new crazy gang, the lack of any definitive explanation for the reasons of a pullout, top six budget crap, nonsense stuff about watching from pavements and now that bullshit picture with a cross. You have to laugh or else you'd cry.

More daydreams and fantasies in this thread than an all boys school maths lesson. Please you can enlighten us with a reality check - typical pathetic response. Happy to oblige. The deal is off. A quick way to check on whether this is the case or not is to look at whether the parties have publicly acknowledged that the deal is off. Dwayne Sports - check UWE - check The deal is off. Acknowledging reality isn't pathetic.

My source who has some inside info at BSL informs me this week, just after telling me they are top of the league
