nope ,nadda, never, i'm sure many of us wouldn't go there, i'd rather watch us on the downs than there, thats more snakey than taylor that is On a serious note if we had to move out I would suggest the likes of Twerton would not be suitable. Why? Because the capacity would not cater for our present support and would lead to loads of gasheads unable to attend and a serious hit on our income. At least the likes of AG could cope quite easily with whatever our attendance was. I know it's not likely to happen but if it did I for one would support my team there like I suspect the vast majority would. UTG! different stroke fer different folks, i just could never lower myself to enter ag under any circumstances, had a written warning at work several years ago as i refused to do maintenance work at ag

Not worth the bother, even if it was possible. There's Sky Sports, BT Sport, even iFollow now. Live football including Rovers, in the comfort of home wherever you live. Why bother with the hassle and inconvenience of getting to Horfield? No worries, a revamped claustrophobic stadium with no provision for those of us who prefer or have to drive is bound to be popular with a few dedicated locals. The rest of us will easily find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon. There are parking opportunities close to the stadium, I always used to drive on a Tuesday night. I now walk from the Bristol Business Park near UWE, brisk walk taking approxiamately 1 hour. I can then choose to drink either inside or outside of the stadium. There are buses heading back to the darkside after the game so all is not lost. Saturdays; head over on the bus to the Annexe, spot of lunch and a couple of libations. Public transport is certainly doable or you arrive slightly earlier to find a spot closer to the ground. An hour?! Do you crawl in all 4s? I walk from Filton Abbey Wood and it takes 35 minutes tops.

I've never failed to find a parking space within a ten minute walk of the Mem, even on busy games and when I've been running late. But look at most of the larger grounds in this country - there are few which can guarantee parking for crowds much bigger than we'll ever get at the Mem. Rovers need to to include some improved transport planning with any proposed development, which should definitely include a park and ride provision and I would suggest there could be a number of company car parks, unused at weekends or evenings, that could be put into park and ride provision. Even Forest Green managed that very well. I don't buy the argument that any supporter is going to be put off by having to turn up a little earlier, or park a little further away. I think I recall parking in Stothert and Pitt at some point during our Twerton days? But not sure there is anything like that around the Mem though? Agree - not much close to the ground , but there are plenty north and east of the Mem, where many people currently drive from. My point was about park and ride opportunities for an enlarged ground and higher attendances. One full double decker equates to 40 cars that don't have to park in the local streets.
