Daily Mail reporter thinks we'll sell BBB for £250k......
That would be insane, we would get that for him in January How come the like of Oxford & Exeter seem to get millions for their decent players but ours seem to leave for next to nothing?

If we sale BBB for 250, I'll eat my season ticket. The only way will be is if he has a release clause of £250k.

Hate to think it but I really can't see billy here by Thursday, can't blame him to go either as he needs the big money move now in his career and he's deserved it...I really do hope we go big for wheeler then but can't see him coming either as championship teams in for him too...I would rather lose the money for bodin and he goes for nothing than sell him now with no replacement of his ability

It's January I'm not so sure about. Wouldn't be surprised if he signs a new contract after the window closes with a lowish release fee a la Taylor and be sold January/Next summer. When I say lowish I mean about £700k.

I can't see Bodin being here if an offer comes in unfortunately.
We will need 2 wingers. Wael must show DC the money.
If Bodin moves on, will be 2 windows where have lost our best players.

Once in the year is bad luck but twice and to me there would be a stench of Total Negligence from the Owner, Chairman and Manager!! We allegedly totally misunderstood the values of players in the transfer window, could not compete with some of the funds spent and then lose our best player just before the close!! Hasn't happened yet of course we can only hope its conjecture.

I will be very disappointed personally

I will be very disappointed personally [ I'm sure we would have offered billy a contract and he's refused it hence we're in this situation as we did Ellis and Rory but failed to sign a better replacement for billy as if we spent all our money on that we couldn't strengthen else where due to our FairPlay budget that I think only we stick too...if he goes for less than £700,000 I just don't see why our players go for peanuts...I think at this stage dc would want a player coming in a swap deal and cash but guess we're wait and see... I can't see if the club let him go that billy would wait til Jan as what's to say if he had a bad injury this season that puts people off then, football is grab the deal when you can game

If Bradley Dack is worth £750k then our Billy boy has got to be worth a million surely.

1 argument I would be making is:
Tom Lockyer plays for the Gas and for Wales.
Billy Bodin could do the same.
Stay at rovers, score goals and you'll get an international cap before the World Cup. Leave and you might not get the minuets to earn one.

If BB goes and no-one is signed as a replacement then I really don't know what's going on at the club. We still seem to be run like a Sunday League team.
Bodin was always likely to attract attention so haven't efforts been made to extend and improve his contract? One would hope so, but we're never told, and there were never any contingency plans for the Snake. It was all very well DC saying he wouldn't go for less than 10 million, but it was kind of inevitable that his 300k release would be triggered, it was just a shame that the Sh1t were the ones to do it. Knowing this, there was no contingency to replace him.
So, if Billy does go, is there a replacement Lined up? I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath.
