www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2017/october/12.10.17---piglets-pantry/Following last weeks pie tasting event, Bristol Rovers can now announce that our new supplier will be Piglets Pantry. Piglets Pies were the most popular selection amongst supporters and will be stocked in kiosks for this weekend's game with Oxford United. Piglet’s has won over 32 awards at the British Pie Awards, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the best pie in Football and are also in the finals for the Football Business Awards later this year. Piglet's are very proud of our growing family business who employ 20 people and only buy our meat and vegetables from sustainable sources around the UK. They will be supplying their steak & ale, chicken balti, sweet potato curry (v) pies along with sausage rolls on a matchday. This weekend Piglets Pies will be bringing some staff to the game, who will be offering free samples to supporters to try the products. Joanna Hunter, Chief Food Lover at Piglets said “The Team are all very excited to be working with Bristol Rovers Football Club to provide unique and tasty British pies and handmade sausage rolls to the fans, we look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday when we launch our wares”

Its brilliant the club moved so fast once notified of the dissatisfaction. Love the fact they included the fans in the decision making. A small victory to all.

Strange that the providers come from Brighton just as our new Commercial director did. Is this a deal that was done at the outset, or was it genuine? Where are our Clarks Pies?

Seems a bit of a coincidence... I hope this was not a stick-up and I worry about the potential lack of pasties. Shame it was not a local firm as well.

But what about the crisps? Is it still only cheese and bloody onion? Crisps aren't good for dogs.
