So your saying that gasincider,bs5 [fence gate] and midlandgas on their own have undermined the club and both the manager and his assistant believe they are worth mentioning in press interviews? With respect i dont think the funeral would have any impact on the pplaying side of rovers. if these people have genuine concerns and/or knowledge they think is bad for BRFC, perhaps they should be approaching the Supporters Club and Ken Masters and asking them to stand up and ask questions
All very well coming on here trying to tell an and sundry, things aren't right and Dwane Sports isn't paying X, isn't doing Y and for us all to open our eyes, but that isn't going to achieve anything like talking on the internet has never achieved anything at BRFC
If it's as bad as some are trying to paint, it's time to put up or shut up and use the voices and organisations we have (and the local media be it BEP or Geoff Twentyman) and perhaps try and force the issue and stop preaching on the internet
That however requires action an very few are ever actually willing
Bidefordgas has written directly to SH and received a reply - a positive reassuring response for you? IMO there is something going on somewhere within the club - two fairly negative comments in two days from the two guys running the playing side. Who knows - Twentyman & the EP may well have been asked to 'back off' for a while. Neither of the two Interviewers seemed prepared to challenge the two comments at the time which has led to a lot of speculation.

If you believe that you must believe in faities Frankly I don't believe anything he says - the sooner he's gone the better IMO. I can only assume he is costing the club a lot of money with his salary.

I think people are reading too much into Marcus comments. I think it was about GD and his funeral this week rather than troubles off pitch.

And what proof do you have to back up your statement apart from your friend in s.Glos planning

So if we're 13th in January you think he should go? Get a grip people. If Sunderland did approach DC I'd totally understand if he left with some of the crap he gets from our fans. Why would a club with a weak go fence in the championship approach a club for the manager whose team are leaking goals for fun What Sunderland need is a strong manager
Sunderland have got a weak fence as well? Anyone know if they paid for theirs?

Why did we sack John Ward in the first place ? He asked to be removed of his managerial duties partly to care for his ill wife. That’s not true in entirety. He wanted to stay until end of season then leave. It was NH who made the change and this has now been validated by Ward. He was actually very angry to have had the move forced upon him. I will never forget him having the balls to come out and talk to us when ALL the board were beating a hasty retreat. Higgs brought in Gow above Wards head too in that season. God, I wish I could forget that awful day

Building a stadium isn't about how many people can or will fill it for football. Its all the other potential income you get from it. We could build a either a 15k or 20k seat stadium, only have 12k people in it every week and still earn a fortune from commercial aspects of the stadium. There is probably £2m to be made right there PA on top of the gates. SO stadium capacity over 5k or so seats is a small argument.
Also, If you have a better facility, more people might be encouraged to attend anyway. We have limited seating right now which is taken most weeks, not every one can or wants to stand up. I would say its better to have space to grow than limit yourself and have no space to build.

However Ward's heart wasn't in it, we were poor on and off the field, his mrs was poorly, JJOT fell out with everyone but himself, some players lacked discipline and change had to happen and quick, we were in freefall. It was a shame DC couldn't keep us up, but it wasn't his fault IMO. It was Ward's idea to bring in Gow for Elliot Richards and Steven Gillespie. 2 awful signings. When you look back on it, no wonder we went down.

I get the feeling DC is hacked right off at the lack of support on the player recruitment side of things. Can't really blame him.
I've often wondered what Wael's motivation was for buying the club only to be content for it to stagnate. But on further reflection, him owning an English league club is probably good PR back home and sounds impressive to his FIFA chums. Probably not a bad networking tool either. By his own admission he purchased the club at a knock-down price and, with no real investment from his own wallet, there's nothing really for him to lose - a real win/win situation.
I can't see an orderly line of investors wanting to take over, so there's really not much anyone can do about it. At least we still have a team to watch, I suppose.

When you look back on it, no wonder we went down. NH decided to bring in Gow after he played well for Exeter at the Mem, a year later history repeated itself and he bought in Blisset. Although posters thinking JW would have kept us up are as deluded as those who say PT would have done so.
