Interesting to read Blackburn Rovers fans will be able to buy a pie and a pint etc with their ST card at the ground from November with the card linked to their bank account. It will also be able to be used at various outlets out with of the football club. I can now see why the club are charging £4 for a sausage roll!No-one is compelled to buy one. I just hope the free one will include the sausage roll as I do not like pasties. It didn't last year. I tried a few times as at the time the sausage roll was cheaper but they wouldn't have it.

Just shows how representative of the fanbase this forum is... Apparently only 58 people have their STs so far!

I can't be bothered to trawl back through threads to find it. edit: I could be bothered, it was bugging me.... It was Henbury in the "Get there early thread".

Our season tickets - for the South West Stand were waiting for us when we got back from holiday on Monday. Today we received 'complimentary' tickets for the South Stand as the South West stand is not available til the Portsmouth game. We also received vouchers for a pasty or pie and a drink as compensation for the inconvenience.

I haven’t seen any mention of how many have been sold. I’m guessing if numbers were up we’d of heard . I reckon we’re down about 500 on last yr.

I have to pick mine up from the matchday ticket office on Saturday. If it is not ready they will provide me with a match ticket and put my ST card in the post in time for the next home game. Knowing the ticket office will be carnage on Saturday I asked if I could collect a match ticket on Friday instead - was told that wasn't possible and that I'd have to queue up on Saturday with potentially thousands of others. Wasn't given a reason why I couldn't collect either the ST or a match ticket Friday - I thought it would have been helpful to have less people having to queue up on Saturday. Not particularly thrilled about how it's been handled and now awaiting a callback from Claire in the office to get a ST refund.

Not had mine yet either, I’m going to the shop tomorrow, will be harder for them to so dismissive when I’m stood there. They have my money, even charged me for postage yet I am told I have to go and collect during the first home match chaos.............not best pleased.

I forgot about the £4 delivery charge which gets applied even though you have to collect in person. You've just made me even more annoyed.

Just shows how representative of the fanbase this forum is... Apparently only 58 people have their STs so far! With a few exceptions, I don't think young people join a forum like this any more. Facebook and twitter are the preferred media. But they're sh** for discussing things. Just a load of random uncontrolled comments and abuse, so it's impossible to gauge how people feel about things. I much prefer to post my rubbish and read the opinions of others in a proper forum. But then I'm old. At least on here we all agree that everything was brilliant long ago, got terrible a while back, and suddenly became a lot better a few years ago. The jury is out on how it is at the moment, but I feel the moaners are slowly but surely recruiting more and more members as people start to wipe the fairy dust out of their eyes.

Does anyone know if the "bring a friend" and "free pasty/coffee" is being offered this season. I thought that when the new cards were announced. No idea fella. Cost of free pasties, (retail) £20k Cost of free pint £20k Cost of bring a friend £110k What do you reckon?

Nobody is the shop was able to confirm why I couldn't pickup my season ticket (if it was ready) or alternatively the match ticket today rather than queue up tomorrow. I've therefore had my refund and will be looking for something else to do on Saturday afternoons - at least until a successful way of managing casual, pay on the day, supporters is up and running. This may all sound a bit knee jerk and I can be a bit impetuous but this was just a bit of a last straw breaking the camels back for me. If things off the field were a lot better (and by that I mean a proper update on stadium and training ground) then I may well have been more patient on this issue. Nevermind, hope the rest of you guys get to see a great game and three points tomorrow.

Reading what you have written on this thread it does appear that you have lost the urge to attend rovers games. This issue, minor in reality, is just the excuse to stop you have been looking for.
