eric, Anything new comes with mistakes and problems but seems ridiculous to react as you have done. If you were that keen on supporting you would be there tomorrow. Your loss.

I have to pick mine up from the matchday ticket office on Saturday. If it is not ready they will provide me with a match ticket and put my ST card in the post in time for the next home game. Knowing the ticket office will be carnage on Saturday I asked if I could collect a match ticket on Friday instead - was told that wasn't possible and that I'd have to queue up on Saturday with potentially thousands of others. Wasn't given a reason why I couldn't collect either the ST or a match ticket Friday - I thought it would have been helpful to have less people having to queue up on Saturday. Not particularly thrilled about how it's been handled and now awaiting a callback from Claire in the office to get a ST refund. Nobody is the shop was able to confirm why I couldn't pickup my season ticket (if it was ready) or alternatively the match ticket today rather than queue up tomorrow. I've therefore had my refund and will be looking for something else to do on Saturday afternoons - at least until a successful way of managing casual, pay on the day, supporters is up and running. This may all sound a bit knee jerk and I can be a bit impetuous but this was just a bit of a last straw breaking the camels back for me. If things off the field were a lot better (and by that I mean a proper update on stadium and training ground) then I may well have been more patient on this issue. Nevermind, hope the rest of you guys get to see a great game and three points tomorrow. Why not just tweet or email TG to see if the situation can be resolved amicably or get to the ground when the ticket office opens? Not sure an update on the ground makes watching tomorrow's game anymore enjoyable should we win!!

Brand new system put in place with all the troubles that go with it as anyone knows who's been in any sort of business comes to know, and you want a refund? Ah well, hope you enjoy shopping.

(assuming she has called you back by now)

However, are you really saying that having an "update on stadium and training ground" dictates if you will go to games or not? No matter what ground we are playing in or where ever the player train, the team needs your support. 12th man and all that. I bet you were going when we were struggling near the foot of L2 and in the conference and no way are we in a position as bad as that, which is why I think your reaction is just way over the top. I hope you change your mind after having this senior moment.

Went to the shop today. Claire confirmed she is receiving her training today on the new season ticket card producing machine (24 hrs before our 1st home match!!). She said there are a few 100 fans who have yet to get their new season ticket cards and worked to 7pm last night fielding queries. She does hope to have them ready for collection tomorrow. Downside being you have to queue up with all the pay on the day supporters before the match. Positive was I got to watch the first team training on the pitch!

Pitch looked amazing in the rain. Leadbitter wasn't there so not sure if that means he will also be missing tomorrow.

Eric,Saturdays are for watching the gas so we can moan about the experience we have on match days, will never get a new ground or stadium revamp, will always sign players no other club wants but we are gasheads and you me and thousands of others can’t do without that feeling the weekends coming I can smell gas so get your arse down the mem in the que and support the gas you know you can’t do without come on ERIC UTG.

If the pay on the day experience ends up being well managed I'm sure I will probably end up going to plenty of games and will end up paying more into the club than if I had kept the season ticket. I'm very happy with on field activity in recent years, especially having watched every game in our lowest times in the relegation season and the conference. I'm quite happy mid table league one tbh which is where we've spent most of our existence. This past year with a total lack of communication from the owners over our long term development plans has just eaten away at me and left me a bit demoralised. I've previously been very optimistic and rose tinted with Wael but my faith in the owners has withered. I could even accept bad news that they are never going to do a substantial rebuild at the Mem or revive UWE, just let everyone know! This season ticket thing and a lack of flexibility just wound me up and pushed me over the edge. I bought my ST late and can accept it not being ready in time so no complaints. They said I would be provided with a matchday ticket but rather than allowing me to drive to the ground and collect it today they said that wasn't possible (no reason) and I have to queue up for ages Saturday. I'd have thought any opportunity to reduce the number queueing Saturday would be welcomed but apparently not.

Unbelievable - so you want what we have had over the years before? - plenty of info on what we were going to do - but never actually managed it? Now is more real - we get to know what is actually happening WHEN IT IS -

Knowall, There has to be more to it than has been said. Chucking your toys out of the pram over one relatively small issue doesn't add up.

Been to shop today and was told that the deadline for season tickets passed yesterday. Can’t remember seeing anything about this . Dam gutted as I now have to pay £18 a match instead of 12 quid. 😟

Now is more real - we get to know what is actually happening WHEN IT IS - Why does it need to be that black or white? Why does it have to be every bit of info and detail or nothing at all. When Wael and family took over we were all under the impression they wanted to pursue UWE and that a new stadium was key to our long term future - when it fell through there was some talk in the first week about engaging with local community about a Mem development and then nothing. A year on is it too much to ask whether they are pursuing a Mem overhaul, looking for a new site, revisiting UWE or nothing at all. I don't need to see plans, see the minutes of meetings, know which contractors have been appointed or any other details....just let us know the bigger picture. Back in the Twerton days we were ragbag Rovers without a doubt. We all knew it ,adapted to it and revelled in our underdog tag. I wasn't taken in with some of the talk about being one of the richest clubs in the country, billionaire owners etc following the takeover but was given new hope that we would be getting a new ground and if that didn't happen a meaningful Mem development. A year of silence has turned me from an eternal optimist to a pessimist regarding Rovers I'm afraid and although my experience with the ST was relatively minor it just proved a tipping point. As I mentioned earlier I'm sure I won't be able to resist going to games during the season and it will cost me more in the long run. My faith in DC, his staff and players hasn't diminished. I really hope Wael announces something positive in his interview tomorrow and I get the buzz back - would be very happy to eat a large slice of humble pie!
