Unbelievable - so you want what we have had over the years before? - plenty of info on what we were going to do - but never actually managed it? Now is more real - we get to know what is actually happening WHEN IT IS - Why does it need to be that black or white? Why does it have to be every bit of info and detail or nothing at all. When Wael and family took over we were all under the impression they wanted to pursue UWE and that a new stadium was key to our long term future - when it fell through there was some talk in the first week about engaging with local community about a Mem development and then nothing. A year on is it too much to ask whether they are pursuing a Mem overhaul, looking for a new site, revisiting UWE or nothing at all. I don't need to see plans, see the minutes of meetings, know which contractors have been appointed or any other details....just let us know the bigger picture. Back in the Twerton days we were ragbag Rovers without a doubt. We all knew it ,adapted to it and revelled in our underdog tag. I wasn't taken in with some of the talk about being one of the richest clubs in the country, billionaire owners etc following the takeover but was given new hope that we would be getting a new ground and if that didn't happen a meaningful Mem development. A year of silence has turned me from an eternal optimist to a pessimist regarding Rovers I'm afraid and although my experience with the ST was relatively minor it just proved a tipping point. As I mentioned earlier I'm sure I won't be able to resist going to games during the season and it will cost me more in the long run. My faith in DC, his staff and players hasn't diminished. I really hope Wael announces something positive in his interview tomorrow and I get the buzz back - would be very happy to eat a large slice of humble pie! I think you sum up how a lot of us feel .

I’m having a very late night, in fact it is already my birthday! I can’t sleep- first home game tomorrow and on my 67th! I started chasing my season ticket by email on Tuesday as it still hadn’t arrived. My mate who had actually paid for it on his credit card helped by phoning Clare (no I please) on Wednesday and was told it would be sorted by either card or a paper ticket being put in ticket office Saturday if they hadn’t sorted it by Thursday - unless it arrived in post anyway- please check Thursday. Waited for Thursday post and when nothing arrived from BRFC I phoned Clare’s line to be answered by Kay who took my name, first line of address and then she told me the postcode. However when I said my seat number and which stand, then who sat either side including the one who’d paid there was an “Oh, I need to check something and get back to you, what’s your number. I had two people get in touch asking if my ticket was sorted including one a couple of seats away who said he would email and complain on my behalf to support me. Anyway, no call back by 16:45 so I phoned again. Several engaged tones then ansaphone so left a message. Waited till the post had been Friday. Still nothing so called Clare just after 10 to be told (very apologeticly) that there had been a cockup and my seat (that I’ve occupied for several years) had been sold to someone else. This despite me having a thank you email in April for renewing my season ticket! The good news was they accepted this was their mistake given the person next to me one side had paid, another person several seats away had asked what they were playing at and they checked that it had been my seat last season at least. They found the other poor soul another seat and bumped him out then told me the training that afternoon might mean Clare could produce my plastic season ticket then. Failing that I would have a paper one to collect. Ok says I, you’ve come clean and been very pleasant about everything. In fairness I then got a later call from Clare to say the plastic training wasn’t working out and she had done a paper ticket for me. She knew how far away I live (an hour each way) but could someone pick it up for me as at least one of my “supporters “ had offered as he was more local? Luckily my wife was in Bristol close to the County Ground so she was able to collect for me to save tomorrow’s queue. This whole episode was getting to me and I was starting to feel a bit like Eric and to throw my toys out of the prom but I realise why Clare is often referred to as “the lovely Clare”. She really was “lovely “ in the way she handled things and I hope she stays and isn’t dumped the way some long serving people have been lately. People that know how to deal with people are a real asset to any business.

A true supporter will make every effort to get to the game and will not stop until every avenue has been blocked - just like you did. However, there are others who get in a hissy fit and throw their toys out of the pram when everything isn't handed to them on a plate. They are collectively known as an Eric. And Clare is the best.

The club got a lot of slack for having an early deadline due to the cards. The struggle this week to get them sorted, and the meltdown which has followed, shows why there was an early deadline.
Big companies introduce new facilities and technologies and things don’t go to plan. Think Heathrow and TSB bank. It’s how the challenges are dealt with which is important because cock ups happen.

I didn't want anything handed to me on a plate. I had no problem with the ST not being ready, the lack of flexibility on allowing me to collect a match ticket on the Friday as opposed to queueing today was, as I mentioned earlier, just a tipping point and wound me up. Maybe a bit knee jerk but there has been a gradual loss of faith in the owners and growing disillusionment for me over the past year. As I also said earlier I will end up going to most games and probably be out of pocket doing it that way so my actions will probably earn the club more cash in the long run!

Please tell me the pitch looked pretty damned good. It looked good against Exeter. Two weeks, a bit of rain, got to be good Yeah, the pitch looked good. But the defence looked awful.

Has anyone else not yet received their ST yet? My daughter has hers since 4 weeks - mine still not arrived. Both ordered at the same time.

Thought you'd be going to watch Bideford town v Bristol manor farm in the FA cup preliminary mate, clash of the titans.... I can't make make it today as I've got flat pack furniture to assemble for my dad but should make hallen v Bridport

It would appear that DC is having that problem with his team selections so far this season. UTG!
