Good idea, we could install a blue peter style graph in the club bar to chart our progress to the target. If that doesn't yell to the world loud and proud "UP THE CRAZY GANG" I don't know what would. We'd also get extra publicity and be everyone's second favourite club after the Babestation fiasco and now the sausage-roll-athon to raise money for new players. I think this has legs.........

I’ve never understood why BMW have never considered a red bull styled take over with us! That would be so awesome! Especially with the fact that BMW OWN THE ROVER BRAND! fits on so many levels! In all seriousness there was a post on here a while back that suggested we had contacted BMW about sponsorship and their response was effectively that we would not add to their status as an aspirational brand. well eff them right in the A then!

Shame Dunfords son wasn’t minted and and wanted to keep the family tradition going with a consortium along side him! Instead I hear he’s just a selfish arrogant tool! (Not my words - an ex female colleagues)

The thing is,it is not Wael who holds the purse strings,it's his brother Hani, who I believe has no real interest in a football club, which maybe is not good news for us.

Why would Hani hold the purse strings at a football club, if he had no interest in a football club..?

It feels like he’s doing a sh** job at the moment to most because we’ve had a poor start to the season and that losing feeling fills everyone with disappointment but if we’d turned all this possession and more shots than them that were getting every game in to points and were top six after 5 games most would be saying that he’d supported DC after losing Ellis and the new players are quality, the pitch is great new bars much better etc etc. He hasn’t delivered in the stadium or training ground yet but he has made us more professional behind the scenes and that’s what DC wanted. Ironic really that we look anything but professional on the pitch now. As far as not supporting DC financially the jury is out on that because I’ve got no idea whether our playing budget is higher or lower than last season. I’d imagine it’s about the same and therefore hardly Waels fault that our strikers aren’t scoring and our defence are playing like girls.

Wael I think still has the hunger but not control of the wonga. He can’t be happy with 5 defeats in 7.

I'd rather he actually just told us his vision for the club before we start asking for him to leave.

You will need about 3 million to pay for wages, contracts ect Silly me, I didn’t realise that. I thought I could play it against the new found equity of the Mem. This place really is a fountain of knowledge. Dark, but technically correct I believe.

It is essentially no different to him being the trustee of a trust fund for his little brother to make sure he doesn't water family money up the wall. In fact I'll bet as far as his family was concerned it was a strategic move to have someone with no emotional investment in control of the finance. If Wael wanted to own a football club that badly he should have looked to buy us himself rather than just being the public face of his family's bid who seem to have slightly different intentions than Wael has.

If we'd won two more games this season I doubt very much this type of thread would exist.
